This is a wonderful collection of beautifully arranged worship classic songs! The chords and runs Mark Hayes uses in them enhance the already beautiful tunes. This book is well worth its price! I definitely will be ordering more!

Anything and everything by Mark Hayes is amazing. I can buy his piano books with closed eyes and know they’ll be crowd pleasers. Not too complicated with great harmonies. Thank you to this great musician for such a talent and sharing it with people. This book is A+++++

These solos are fairly easy to play, not as difficult as some of Hayes' music. Contemporary songs that you will hear frequently at church, and they are a bit shorter than songs in some of the other books. Chords are included which are very helpful on those tricky parts where you can add a bit of your own notes if you can't immediately sightread what's written. Mark Hayes speaks to my heart with his outstanding abilities as an arranger of Christian music! I have many of his solo books, and love them all! I’ve never had one that I didn’t like every song. He does it all, from classic, spirituals, jazz, and now this new book! Just played How Deep the Father’s Love for Us for prelude this past Sunday. I so enjoy how he phrases his music with such intriguing chords and key changes! It’s always a challenge for my skill level, but I’ve played many, many of his arrangements over the years for church, and they are always well received and appreciated. ... show more

I love Mark Hayes’ style. A little jazzy with lovely harmonic chord choices. Not too hard. Some pieces are definitely more showy than others, with more runs and octaves.
