Mark Hayes, I truly believe is hands down the best keyboard arranger in America, if not the world. His arrangements are awesome and always sound very beautiful to the ear. I love that you don’t have to be classically trained to play his music, although effort is required to master each arrangement. Classically trained musicians surely enjoy his music as well! I receive notices when new Mark Hayes books are available, so I was excited to order this piano solos book. I have played the piano for over 50 years, and his books are my favorites for beautiful Christian piano arrangements for memorial services, at church, or nice worship music at home. (Other musicians have commented on the beautiful arrangements after memorial services, too.) Some of the newest praise music at church lacks some of the depth of past beautiful tunes. I was very glad to play these and hear that Mark added some beautiful filler without detracting from the melodies. I am hoping he will continue publishing more! Update: when the weather is nice, I open the windows in our piano room. Some of the neighbors commented specifically that they’re enjoying the music when I’m playing from this book. : ) ... show more
