Authentic. Holy-Spirit Filled. Stories of how God redeems the most unlikely helps to grow my faith! I have seen Stephen at a worship night and it is POWERFUL to feel God’s presence move. I APPRECIATED how he owned his actions (yet dug deeper to expose the motivating factors). It also touched my heart - since I have some prodigals and the encouragement to KEEP PRAYING. I was convicted as he pointed out that we can often times have a FEAR OF CONFRONTATION in church or family dynamics. That we need the role models who “need to have enough love to confront” family members that are going down about path. (in a healthy way of course). This book really resonated with me and I couldn't put it down! Like the author, I too grew up in a broken home with an abusive dad. Only after coming to Christ in my twenties did I begin to forgive, heal and stop the pattern of abuse in our family tree. Stephen's story of rebellion and redemption will bless you because he points everything to Jesus and His power to save, heal and restore. Knowing the story behind Stephen's music makes the love of God even more real to me and I have been blessed by so many songs he has released. ... show more

I’ve been following Stephen since 2018 when the Holy Spirit showed me “Iron Bell”. This book is amazing. You can learn about forgiveness, the threshing floor etc. it’s a great read for anyone and easy to read. Stephen’s perspective on life is an awesome read!
