Updated review: Credit to the company. After the light/controller had failed after 1 use and I wrote this bad review, the company contacted me to offer either a refund or replacement parts. I give them credit for proactively backing their products, and that speaks volumes about their customer service. I ended up taking the refund as I had already replaced the light with a different type. They do need to re-engineer the connections so that if the controller fails, it could be bypassed in order to use the light manually. Original Review: Used the light on night one while camping, and it worked great. Had it unplugged the rest of the night, and after plugging in the next night, the light would not work at all. I suspect the controller/receiver is bad as I tested the output of the wireless receiver that connects directly to the light, only to find zero output on a voltmeter. Given the different connections on the input and output side of the receiver, there is no way to bypass it to manually use the light. This is a very big oversight / design flaw. I understand electronics fail, but this is ridiculous, especially for how much this cost (could have bought a different brand for about half the cost). My recommendation is DO NOT BUY THIS until they redesign it. ... show more

It's hardsided, holds everything , zips up nicely, and will be easy to pack in with all our other camping equipment. The light itself is bright, has a remote dimmer and mode set as well as changing the light color from white to a more mellow yellow. It comes on an extendable pole that mounts to two different mounts; a ground stake mount and a suction cup mount that allows both vertical and horizontal placement of the suction cup. The light is powered by your car battery, via a cigarette lighter plug, or a positive-negative set of clamps that go on the battery. And this light is not just a camping light. I'm currently using it to work on my Jeep, so like any good product, it has many uses besides just the one it was built for. Definitely a great-to-have product. ... show more

Really enjoyed this light, I use it for camping so having the ability too dim the light settings is super nice! Using a brother light when setting up and a soft light when we’re just hanging out! The pole that goes into the ground makes it way to setup, pretty universal, and easy too clean! The cord is about 16ft so if that’s not long enough for your use you could always use a mobile power source such as a goal zero to be able too put the light where you need! ... show more

I race RC cars for fun. I took this LED light to use in my pit and it lasted all night. There is not enough power at the track so we use and share generators. I used an auto jump box to power this light, it lasted more then 4hrs. Using this light on a jump box was enough for night racing. The light is nice and bright. I didn't like how the light fits in the ground stake light holder. The light wobbles to much. I have yet to use the section cup mount yet. The shipping was ridiculous. I ordered another item along with this light early Monday morning and when I picked this item it said I would receive it by Thursday, but at checkout it said it would arrive on Friday. I'm a prime member so I expected to get this light by Wednesday. My other item shipped out later that day and arrived on Wednesday. But this light didn't ship out till Wednesday and arrived on Friday. I ended up buying another light from ebay and got it by Wednesday in time for my event on Thursday. ... show more

Good product one of the best options for Overlanding or as a utility light or during emergency power outage. But not for windy or breezy days, moves alot and can irritate vision unless otherwise anchored. Recommend running off Aux battery and not off main battery.
