This works with the signia hearing aids. But The signa app for this product on the iphone will have trouble every other day with connecting to t he transmitter and I have to restart the app, or power on and off the phone, and at times will have to power off and on the transmitter. It can be pain sometimes, but it's better than nothing at all. Without this, my father will have the TV volume on 50! ... show more

I received the Signia TV Sound Transmitter for my TruHearing Aids, which is manufactured by Signia, according to my Hearing Aid specialist. This device came with absolutely no directions. The box had 3 QR codes. labeled How to set up TV Sound, How to Pair and Stream, and Manual User PDF. The only thing the QR codes were for was for you to download a bunch of programs that messed up my phone so bad that I had to factory reset. I finally got the manual via Amazon chat support. It does not install like a normal Bluetooth connection. So read the manual very closely. I will now need to spend several hours setting up my phone again. After I finally got the Signia TV Sound Transmitter working, it proved to be an excellent product. Below are some of the good and bad features I have found. Good Qualities: 1. The Signia TV Sound is visible on your TruHearing app. 2. The hearing aid and TV sound volumes are independent, and the TV sound appears to benefit from the TruHearing settings. 3. The TV sounds appear to be in stereo, but I'm not sure. Bad Qualities: 1. Manual as described above. 2. After using Signia TV sounds for 3 days while I was writing this review, the TV sound went out, and I had to reinstall the Signia TV sound??? Recommendation: If you can get the manual, I highly recommend this product. ... show more

5 stars despite arriving with no instructions on how to set up and operate. Not quite plug and play but when operating it works very well. The audio is clear and sharp.
