  • Simple tightening for conduit lugs in box.
Easy to use and well built ratchet wrench of tightening lug nuts to conduit inside junction boxes. Small enough to fit inside. Two sizes.

  • Game changer ! No more busted knuckles
This is an a moving tool for removing 40 year old conduit box nuts. No more beating the metal ring with a screw driver. Just slip this over the end of the wire and on to the nut secure the nut and turn the other end. If needed there is a hole for additional leverage. This earned a spot in my bag day one of felid use, saved me a bunch of time and frustration. ... show more

  • It actually works..
So I'm convinced the people who say it doesn't work aren't sure what they've bought. If you're an electrician who deals with steel cut-in boxes and MC; you know what a pain it is to spin a locknut on inside a single gang box with two fingers. Fight the connector while pulling wires to make the threads straight, etc. If you want a solution, this is it. I used it 4 times on a commercial job today and it worked every time. That's the reason I got one. Starting MC locknuts on steel cut-in boxes. People say it's made for tightening or breaking locknuts loose, no. Its best function is a locknut STARTER for hard to reach locations. I could care less about it being able to break anything loose. That's why they make lineman's.... to hit the back of the screwdriver with! Bottom line: It works. One improvement I'd make is to magnetize the bezel that holds the locknut. That way you could move it around and it wouldn't come off until threads were started. ... show more

  • Not the perfect solution...what about the top of connector what or who's going to hold that in wall.
A three handed tool if the top of connector spins on you. This wishes it was a one trick pony!Any Electrician worth his salt would use a snap in connector on a cut-in box anyway! Lol! More trouble than its worth. I wish I would of returned it when I had the window of opportunity. I tried to give it every chance in a commercial electrical setting. You see we have an inspector that's two handing our conduits. I thought I'd try to get my lock rings a bit tighter instead of the usual ways of channel locks, or a beater and my linemen. Save your money...Absolutely useless tool. Broke down and bought the lock ring wrenches. They're okay not the perfect solution but better than this Joker! ... show more

  • Could use a way to lock it
So I picked this up because I was prefabricating a lot of masonry boxes, and my little lock wrench didn't work great with the lip on masonry boxes. This does a good job going around the lip, but the fact that it always free spins is a pain in the butt. I generally have a set of channel locks on the connector so it doesn't spin, which means I have to hold the locknut wrench in a weird way to maintain leverage and keep it from just spinning. There will be times when that spinning function will be helpful, but I really wish there was a little toggle to lock the internal shaft so you could just use it as a wrench. ... show more

  • Like it. Do you absolutely need one
Like it. Do you absolutely need one? Probably not, but it's still handy. I use mine at work and like it just fine. The openings I'm the working ends for wires to pass through is a good feature, as well as being able to use the opposite ends to crank down lock nuts. It's saved me from scraping my knuckles a few times already, so as long as the internal mechanism that connects the two heads holds up, I'll be a happy camper. ... show more

  • Good tool
After 30 years in the trade my stiff hands are getting inside the smaller device boxes as easily. Gave this tool a try, although I don't use it alot,it works perfectly in the tight areas. Money well spent.
