I purchased this hair dryer in June of 2019 for a trip to Europe and it was such a great hair dryer that I ended up using at home also, since my previous one stop working before my trip. It’s gone with me on every trip since and I use it at least several times a week. This past month in June of 2026 it started making some rattling but still works. I came to check if they still make it because I would replace it with the same one. I have straight hair and the ceramic on this dryer makes my hair shiny and it dries faster than my previous baby bliss and just as shiny. I purchased this blow dryer for a trip to Amsterdam, Scotland and Iceland. I have very thick, long, naturally wavy hair that I blow out straight. At home, I use a Dyson hair dryer, but they aren’t dual-voltage and I couldn’t justify the expense of a second one just for travel. In the past, I’ve tried using hotel dryers with no luck. They’re not powerful enough and my hair takes an insane amount of time to dry. I purchased this one because I needed something with some oomph that could handle my thick hair and not create too much frizz. Surprisingly, it actually works pretty well. I like that it folds up for travel, though it is a bit larger than I was expecting. I also like that it comes with a concentrator attachment, which helps greatly with frizz. It has a lot of power and good range of temperatures. I also like that it auto-adjusts voltage. (I previously had an older travel dryer that required manual adjustment for voltage and it never seemed to handle the high European voltage well, and started smoking during use on multiple occasions). The one MAJOR flaw in this dryer is the cord length. My experience traveling in Europe is that there are usually not outlets in the bathroom, and I typically have to find other places to dry my hair. The outlets are typically lower/closer to the floor (as opposed to counter height). I’m 5’8” and if I plug the dryer into a floor-level outlet the cord is barely long enough to hold the dryer above my head. I find myself having to stoop or find a chair to sit on so I have enough cord length to actually move the dryer around my head. Without this issue, I’d give the dryer 5 stars. ... show more

After destroying my blow dryer on an international vacation last year, I was looking for a travel blow dryer. This Conair one is exactly what I was looking for. It is lightweight and will store easily in my carry on for my next international vacation. I love that it is able to sense the appropriate voltage, so no more fried blow dryers for me. I used it shortly after I received it and it works great. For a travel blow dryer it has lots of power and easily dried my hair. The dryer seemed nice. I liked the smart voltage feature so that it could be used internationally. It was lighter than my normal blow dryer by about .5 lb. However, the electric cord is short. When traveling, I often need to be creative where I dry my hair and an outlet may not be close by.
