I purchased this for an overseas trip and it did not disappoint. It's very easy to use. But BE AWARE that it takes a good deal of brute force to pull out the water tank. If it's not coming out, nothing is wrong. Be sure to pull from the bottom of the tank and pull very, very hard. Once you've got it out and filled it up, congrats! The hard part is over; from here it's just pressing buttons. The steam is both powerful and consistent, more so than a good number of large yet erratic steamers that I've used in the past (you know who you are). This one is my go-to at home instead. One of the drawbacks, as you can probably tell from all the other reviews, is that the water tank is rather small. A single full tank can probably last for about one dress (or t-shirt & shorts combo). The steamer itself is surprisingly heavy, so after a while your hand might ache a little. Of course, if you're using it for one or two pieces for travel this isn't that big a deal for you.     • Too bulky and heavy for travel
I was looking for a fabric steamer for travel in Europe. This was the only dual voltage available. I cannot review it in actuality as I did not try using it. It’s too bulky and heavy. Weighed almost 2.4 lbs on my weighing scale. It will use up too much of my 50 lbs weight limit. Also, I know that it will be too heavy to hold if I have to steam multiple garments. Sadly, I have to return. Maybe good for someone who has stronger arms than me and who does not overpack. ... show more

    • Good but with flaws
I like this steamer, it does the job. However, there are a few flaws which make its use more difficult than it could have been. The water refill hole is extremely small and hard to fill from a bottle (no matter how hard I try, the water is still everywhere around it) so you either run to the sink for every refill or be ready to the wet floors. The recommendation to use distilled water is, therefore, moot since distilled water does not come from a faucet while the use of a bottle... see above. Speaking of the refills, the amount of water in the water container is sufficient for only one side of a piece of clothes, so every item = two refills. It's also quite heavy for travel so I would not advertise it as such. Not something that you would put in your carry-on, definitely. ... show more

    • Works great but heavy
It did a great job, but it's heavy if your trying watch luggage weight. The water compartment is also small. It will steam one outfit at a time but don't expect to get multiple outfits done at one time, on one water tank.

First of all, this steamer is probably the only DUAL VOLTAGE one on Amazon (U.S.) and that means it will work worldwide on every socket (100v-240v) but be sure to set the switch on the bottom. Build quality is high and as a steamer its ok, but ain't perfect, you may need to run it over a few times to remove wrinkles. ... show more

This steamer has a little bit of heft to it, but in a good way. It's made very well. The only slightly negative thing is that the water reservoir is quite small. If steaming a very wrinkled item or a larger item, you might need to refill the reservoir during the process. Otherwise, this product has made my life way easier! ... show more

    • Great steamer
I bought this steamer to take on a trip to Scotland and England. It has a switch to change the voltage for use in the UK and US (you still need a converter for the plug). It works so well that it is now replacing the one I have at home in the US. It heats up quickly, doesn’t spit and sputter and only shoots steam when you push the button. You push the button again and it stops emitting steam while you switch garments or need a moment to prepare. It works very well and I highly recommend it.
