I didn’t even want a Dyson but several family members said that they work great and since I dry my hair every day, I should invest in the Dyson. I knew better and should have stuck with what is already working for me, the Conair. Leaves my hair soft after drying, no knots, lots of body/volume. My hair is healthy and I always get compliments. This dryer works well, has good heat and speed controls, and is a good value, but the cord is too short. The outlet needs to be near where you want to use the dryer or it won’t reach.

Bought this because I had accidentally lost the nozzle attachment (that concentrates the air flow) from my old Conair dryer. This is so much better. I love the shorter length cord, no tangling, great for plugging into my wall socket near my vanity. The concentrator is perfect for drying my hair without frizz. This dryer is fast! And it doesn't make my hair look cooked. The dryer has the expecred cold shot button and 2 controls for temperature and speed. If it lasts as long as my other Conair dryer, I will be pleased. (It still runs.) I will say that the concentrator attachment is a bit difficult to snap onto the narrow rim of the dryer. Once you get the hang of it, it is easier. I have not had it fall off, though. Pretty color and probably great durability, if the other dryer is a true example. Great value price also. ... show more
