Nice solid walker. Lower handle helps in getting out of chair. I am 87. Need wheelchair most of the time. But this walker has helped a lot when I have to exercise. Can't walk very far because I broke my hip and healing not going well. But if you need a walker like this, buy this one.

    • Perfect for tight spaces
We have a house that was built in the late 50s. Most of the time I feel like I'm living in a Barbie house with the narrow halls and tight corners. It wasn't so bad until my Mother-in-Law came to live with us when she was 90, and now every tight space and pointy corner seems to be a problem for navigating or safety. We have one tight space in the kitchen that is a mere 23" wide and after several nights reading and searching for a walker that would keep her mobile and safe, I happened to run across this model. It was the only one that was narrow enough to fit easily through that narrow space without scraping the skin off your knuckles. When it came, I made sure to install the wheels on the inside of the walker as someone else suggested because although it was narrow enough up top, wheels on the outside might have presented a problem catching. The walker is lightweight, folds away easily and is easy for my Mother-in-Law to manage on her own. She especially likes the lower set of bars to help her get up from the couch and steady herself before grabbing the upper set to get her walking. So far, out of all the things I've purchased for her to try and make our house safe and accommodating, this is the one that I can honestly say was the best purchase I've made so far. ... show more

Perfect for my 5 ft tall elderly mom. Old house meant small bathroom door width. We still had to take the bathroom door off, but now mom has plenty of room to take this walker into the bathroom which is a big win for us. Also it better suits her petite frame.     • Rubber Soles would need to buy tennis balls
Walker is okay I thought it would be slimmer, I bought tennis balls to replace rubber soles not sure how you’re suppose walk/glide with it with those rubber soles. Are you suppose to tip it to the front as you walk or pick it up with each step if you don’t buy the tennis balls to help it glide?

This is a really marvelous walker. It is lightweight, yet sturdy. Almost no assembly needed (installing wheels). The rubber handles are very comfortable. The lower grips are useful to rise from a seat. The wheels appear to be well made. If you want to replace the back feet with skis, you can.     • A stylish walker!
We didn't realize that the front bar would be styling with a decor piece. An upgrade for sure. The only issue is that it wasn't quite 'tall' enough for the person I purchased it for. Unbeknownst to me, it didn't elevate far enough for the perfect fit-but use it we did. My advice is to check with your physical therapist to be clear on the height needed for optimum use. ... show more
