    • Get another person to help you assemble this mower jack
Unless you have three hands you'll need another person help you line up the holes where the bolts and pins go. The instructions were confusing. What is actually a pin is labeled as a bolt and my kit came missing a 5/16" bolt. Fortunately I had the necessary bolt w/ nut in my bin. The product is worth what I paid and when I finally got it assembled (on my own) it works just as advertised. The paint on the product started to flake off the moment I looked at it, so when you get it assembled you'll need to sweep up or vacuum your workbench. Flaking paint doesn't bother me; confusing instructions and a missing part does bother me. I tried the lift on my Bad Boy 54" deck Avenger and it works very well; I'm 68 years old but still fit and I was able to hoist the zero-turn with very little effort. I had studied the instructions the night before I assembled it and figured I could get it assembled in about 45 minutes. It took me over three hours due to the poor instructions. Also, this product has a lot of drilled holes with no purpose on several of the parts, which made it more confusing. Would I but it again? Certainly. I think it's a very good product for its price but is a pain to assemble. ... show more

    • Doesn’t lift the mower high enough
It does lift the mower deck high enough to get under and change the blades or clean the deck. Needs a longer arm to lift it an additional 4-6 inches.
