I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It's a nice quality not cheap like the plastic one he previously had. Does wonderful dehydrating. He has made some awesome jerky and apples it. The shelves and light inside make it nice to be able to see while cooking. You can do large batches. And best of all its very easy clean. It's very quiet and about the size of a toaster oven and just as nice looking. If you are a beginner or a seasoned cook I highly recommend this unit it is very easy to use. Has a timer and temperature control.

Works great easy to use & clean. I’ve made beef jerky tried several different meats . Thinly sliced strawberries, apples w/cinnamon w/wo sugar, mangoes w/ spicy marinade, peaches, blueberries . You can put about 3lbs of meat approx 1/4 thick , which will give you almost a lb. Of jerky. The leaner your meat the better your jerky will be . Experiment the times you use min 2hrs @165f for thin store quality jerky . I prefer thicker 1/4-3/8 thick slices cooked for 4-6 hrs at 165F after marinating for 24 hrs . Your jerky will be as good or better than jerky bought from jerky specialty stores,once you fiqure out a marinade that you really like experiment with spices ,different cuts & thicknesses of meat . Just label them before you cook as they look the same once cooked. Jerky is somewhat like sex , when it’s just ok it’s pretty darn good. When it’s great you’ll want more so take notes. The machine is pretty quiet , there is a fan that runs the whole time so it’s not silent the door has a gap all around it so moisture can escape . A little heat can be felt if your standing close to it but it’s barely noticeable. Your only going to 165F so not even close to the heat an oven emits while in use. The racks are stainless and I just rinse mine in super hot soapy water , there’s a flexible drip tray on the bottom nothing sticks to it wash same as the racks . Then dry with towel you can run dehydrator for 10 min before adding your foods to make sure all moisture is removed from racks . On the rack in pic actually has 4 different marinades or spicy levels. Dehydrator goes up to 190-195F you can program to read C or F I believe timer goes up to at least 8 hrs much longer than you’ll need and also heats about 20 degrees hotter than others in same price range. Also has a light and super easy to adjust temp or time before or during the cooking cycle .

Really sturdy and utility for food dehydrator design. Exactly as advertised in quality and function and capacity. Negative is the unit exterior cabinet gets fairly hot and the touch controls on front panel do not work very well - buttons would be an improvement. I have to retry several times to get control of either time or temperature. But once set the heat, dry time and shutoff are hands free and work well and unit is relatively quiet for a dual-fan unit. I like the results.

The box came damaged and so did the unit and when we notified them, they sent us a new one. Great customer service and we love the dehydrator, very easy to use but the recipes are not very good but we found others and still love our unit.

I bought this as a gift to my sister. She said it's a great dryer she's done jerky still has to get the hang of it on this dryer. She has done fruit Roll-Ups which turned out really good. It's space-saving. It looks nice. The metal trays are great good quality. Overall yes I would recommend and yes I would buy again.
