I got this blender to replace an aging Vitamix that was finally reaching the end of its useful life. I use a blender solely to make smoothies and shakes, and I use it to do so daily. Sometimes those smoothies include frozen fruits/veggies and ice, and sometimes it's all liquid. Basically what I require out of a blender is a tool that will quickly mix my ingredients and turn any solids to slurry. This blender does that job well. At the lowest setting, this blender appears to be more powerful that my Vitamix that it's replacing. It doesn't a better job at mixing powdered and liquid ingredients at the lowest setting than the Vitamix did at the highest setting. It doesn't do quite as good a job of reducing frozen or solid items to slurry as the Vitamix. I think the difference has to do with the shape of the blades. It's not that this blender won't do the job; it's just that it takes this blender a little bit longer. The blender appears to be well made. It seems to be quite solid, and, after a few months of daily use, I haven't had anything break or wear out. The only thing that's a little off-putting is a coppery smell that occurs when the blender is operated at the highest setting for over 30 seconds. The smell is akin to the smell once gets from some types of electric tools (saws, cutters, some powerful drills). It's nothing bad, just the smell of an electric motor at it's peak usage. I try to keep it below that level whenever possible. Overall, I'm very happy with this as a replacement for my old Vitamix. Highly recommended.

Blender is insanity. Got it because we like milk shakes, smoothies, mixed drinky poos, and in general I just use a blender a lot. I keep breaking ninjas so I got this thing and it does indeed sound like a jet taking off. But it shows no sign of wear and tear. Love the sound cover so it’s not as loud as it could be. It does take up counter space but everyone asks where I got it. So I assume it’s not an eyesore. And it gets used too often to put it away. Kid of pricey for a blender but also it’s fairly priced for a commercial blender. It is really easy to clean and I love that it has the access port in the sound cover. It also comes with the masher stick so you don’t have to even open the cover to add stuff in while blending. Will puree anything from ice to mashed potatoes lol. Very functional. Even use it to make salsa.

The smoothie blender is so versatile. I not only use it for making smoothies which it does a beautiful job on nice smooth and thick. But I also use it to make margaritas blended drinks. You can make milkshakes. You can even make vanilla paste in it. It is a large piece of equipment so it does take up some counter space. But it’s a good trade-off for the speed and capacity of this machine. It can get quite loud because you are breaking up large pieces of fruit or ice or whatever you have in there. I do like the design of it. It feels very safe to use. The ease of it is you just put everything in the container and the container has measurements on the side put the lid on put it on the machine and within a minute you have your drink. I do use it to make vanilla paste which you have to break down quite a bit and it does it within three minutes. I have no problem with this machine and it’s the price very well for the quality and performance.
