Works well and has plenty of power to engrave stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum and more. I have not yet set up the rotary device as I am still learning Lightburn and all it does with this very nice laser. So far I have done stainless steel, mild steel, painted steel and anodized aluminum. Fantastic results with fine details. There's a competitor offering a laser for, on sale, $1700 (Regular price is $2k) and it's 1/30th of the power of the ComMarker B3. This is definitely the way to go. No pecking for me. The media could not be loaded. I've been testing this machine for a few weeks and it's great the price. I'll attach some pictures and a video to this review. I don't have a lot of space, so I appreciate the compact size. It works very fast on anodized aluminum and leaves a solid black mark on stainless steel if you use the z-marking method (you can see that on the stainless steel dog tags pictures). The machine is well calibrated by default, but you can always get more detailed results if you calibrate it yourself. I followed the instructions of an awesome YouTube video called "FIX your Galvo Laser F-Theta Lens Distortion with Ezcad Corfile", the channel is called Laser Everything, and if you are a new fiber laser user like me, this is going to save your life. Costumer service response time is very good, and they were willing to answer all my questions, before and after the purchase, and I did ask a lot of questions.
