This is a high quality little speaker. I was looking for something smaller that still provided the same capabilities as a larger speaker. Many other options weren’t loud enough or didn’t have a good battery life. However, this one seems to perform very well and has a longer lasting battery. Its size is also very convenient. I am able to store it in small tight spaces. The recessed buttons are great as they will not become jammed if put into a backpack. I appreciate the sleek design of the body, and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a more compact speaker. ... show more

comiso Bluetooth Speaker, Portable Bluetooth Speakers with Wireless Stereo Pairing My reason for purhcasing this was to replace my other brand unit that the charging port in the unit stopped working as the socket mount disattached. It is NOT user assessable. I chose this Cosmos unit because it looks like it is a bit more sturdily built, it feels well built and has a little weight to it. The sound quality is very acceptable, bass is limited, but that is acceptable for the size of the unit. Sound reproduction, I'd put in a 1 to 10 scale of 8.5. The only thing limiting the sound is again, the size of the speaker, but you can hear it well across a room barring any other loud noises. This would work if tied together with a second unit and used blue tooth to a computer. The buttons on lit on the top, are pressure sensitive to touch. The " + " and " - " buttons are dual use, tap to raise/lower volume, press and hold to change the MP3 playing. Pause and Play, does what it says and a blue tooth button. Charging is easy enough, you get a cord with a USB C for the Comiso and a USB A for the computer or whatever power source you have. It takes an hour or so to charge up, you see a red led when charging, blue when charging is complete. THERE IS ONE DOWN SIDE. If you listen to music or audio books, you may need the MICRO CARD to put the data on. The slot for the MICRO CARD is next to the power socket. Both of these are deep inside the body, covered with a rubber cap to keep dust out. THE PROBLEM is access to the MICRO CARD when putting in or removing. Putting in, you maneuver the card in place, and press in. you will need to use your finger nail or some other device, to press the MICRO CARD deep into the slot to latch. You cannot latch the card by simply pushing in with your finger. Removing the MICRO CARD can be a problem as well. BEST to do this with a tweezer, press the edge of the MICRO CARD down to unlatch then it will slightly move up, you need to grab the MICRO CARD with the tweezer then pull out. The space is too tight to use your fingers to grab the MICRO CARD and remove. The MICRO CARD is held in with a slight friction hold so you cannot shake the MICRO CARD OUT. I hesitate to call this a bad design, they did try to make it water resistant, but you need a tool to be able to access the MICRO CARD to remove it. The MICRO CARD concern is NOT a major problem, you just have to be aware of what you have and how to handle it if you wish to change add or delete mp3 to the MICRO CARD. I RECOMMEND this speaker unit esp for those who like to listen to audio books or music in your favorite room or outside. This fulfills the job rather well. The only reason, I gave it a 4 star rating is because I could not give it a 4.5. The only problem is the access to the MICRO CARD and even then, it is not a deal breaker. I didn't realize how small this thing was and expected it to be junk. Connected it to my movie projector for better sound. Very impressive. It's good enough for a standard room. It's the size of a salt shaker so don't expect it to be deafening though. Battery lasts for a two hour movie and has never ran out on me. ... show more

Amazing sound for the price. Blue tooth range is only about 30 ft. This is tge second on I have bought. Great for work. I used tht last one every day for 2 years straight before it stopped. Definitely recomend for tge price point. Sound will suprise you.

This speaker is great and totally worth the money! There have been a few times where the volume seems to go in and out, and I think it has to do with songs that have heavier bass. It’s been super useful to use and is portable. I’m excited to keep using it!
