Not a bad futon for someone on a budget or living in a small place. Assembly was clear and easy. This is NOT a comfortable futon to sit on for a long period of time or to try to sleep on.

This was a large futon that I can lay on as a plus sized person without folding it open completely, the length and width of this is what I loved most. I needed something affordable on a very very small desperate budget and this did the trick. It's firm as isn't as padded or accurate picture and that is the only downfall. I can still throw myself down on it without hurting myself. I like the cloth material. Very easy assembly. I was sleeping on the floor and I just threw a matress topper on this and now I avoid mold problems. Because this is less cushiony I like that I can customize it with my own matress topper without over it without feeling anything uncomfortable underneath. If you can afford expensive furniture then avoid this. Otherwise I love this. ... show more

Actual product is not as shown. Very uncomfortable , padding material very flat and hard, not like as advertised. Its like sitting on a hard floor. The metal frame is good and sturdy, sits low to the floor , would be great for little kids in a play room.
