It's so quiet, I sometimes forget to switch it off. These are replacements for one just like it, brand and all, which broke. It was my fault for dropping the fan, but the plastic clip broke when it hit the floor. I decided to replace it with the exact model, because I liked the original fan. I will fix the original broken one by attaching a base to the fan, I just have to figure out what kind of base, I'd like to find some kind of monkey arms for it. I hope for better outcomes for the fans I just purchased, but I will replace them with the same if they do break, they're that quiet. ... show more

If you’re buying this for a grow tent, don’t….Unless you are willing to ducktape it to the poles because these clamps WILL NOT hold them in place on a tent pole. They blow okay and they’re not nearly as loud as the exhaust fan, but they didn’t fit the bill for a grow tent. I give them 4 stars simply because the clamps won’t grip the pole, otherwise the fans seem to be okay for the price. ... show more

    • Careful when using in a tent with small frame..
As far as the operation and function of the fans, they're great. My complaint is only for the clip. I use my fan inside of a tent with a metal frame, the clips will hold at the moment, and then the fan may fall during the night. If the clips were better, this would be a 5 star review. Perhaps a model with a clip meant for tent poles? ... show more
