The range hood took no time to install. It comes with a built in electrical cord, and items to make it ductless or duct venting. We installed it as a ductless. The light works great and there are three functions of fan speed. The fan noise is much quieter than the previous range hood we had. My only complaint is that it was a little tedious to try and find which filter went with it. The manual list a version but their store front didn't have it and searching for it didn't show up anything. We ended up buying a filter that judging by the looks it would fit and that ended up working out. Overall, we are pleased and like the stainless steel look.

Exactly as described. Easy install. We installed it ductless but figure if we don't like it we can always connect to our duct later and if we do like it, tear out the duct for added space. Looks great and matches our new stove. So far we love it.

Love the stainless steel construction and the push button controls for the three speed fan and the light. The first unit got was damaged and the replacement was here in about 3 days. The thing i do not like is the LED lights do not light the cooktop. When turned on they are more like a dim night light for the kitchen. There is 5 LED lights all together that should light the cooktop like the sun was shining on it. Very good instructions for mounting and the paper printouts can be put exactly where the unit is to be mounted and all holes marked in exactly the right place so mounting is EASY

This under the counter range hood is very well constructed and look high end. The stainless steel complement my wood kitchen cabinet but I believe that it would go with any cabinet finish its is powerful but runs quite my it has 3 speed and a light it’s pretty easy to get it installed I done it by my self but would be nice to have some one to hold it while you secure it with screws. It replaced my old one which was very loud. I’m really happy with it and highly recommended it.

First the shipping was horrible. Came in it's factory box which had very bad protection. The package that was supposed to come to my door, went through USPS and the box was destroyed. The Product was damaged and bent in 2 different places. Even the Styrofoam packing material was broken up. The tape sealing the box, sealed nothing and the box was open. Post office said might wanna check and make sure everything is there since it looked like it was put through a crash test procedure. Flimsy is an understatement one bent part I could pretty effortlessly shove back into place with my finger. Got to be the thinnest metal ever used in such a product. The light is a joke and not what is shown as 2 round LED in front it's one rectangle 1x4 inch light that's rectangular in the rear. The fan is hardly whisper silent. The wire in - this is not hard wired, it's a plug in, I must have missed that in the add. I now have to install a junction box and plug and run holes through cabinets to install it. Sometimes cheap is never the best option, move on to a better brand from a Box Store. Says it's 30" - it is not 30" gaps on both sides.

I'm going to award 5 stars for this hood, but I want to be clear about the trade-offs being made in this purchase. So, let's say you live in a nice house, but you want to upgrade your "builder-grade" under cabinet hood to match your new 36 inch gas stove. When I say, match your stove, I mean your hood has to be able to draw in the gases (fuel+CO), smoke and grease. Without a decent hood, your gas stove is going to be a source of pollutants, irritation to the lungs and even cause asthma (apparently). So a good range hood is essential. Now, I normally think of high quality appliances as being heavy and sturdy, with lightweight appliances being cheap. So, I was disappointed when I first lifted the feather weight package. I thought how can something so light be better than what I have? But, lighter materials allow cheaper shipping, which allows more technology. Frankly, this is the ONLY range hood I have seen with gesture controls, whereby you can simply wave your hand in front of the sensor and change the speed or turn on or off the lights. Wave left or wave right to go up or down in fan speed. For the low price, light weight item you are also getting 3 fan speeds instead of 2 from the big box stores. I use the lowest setting mostly, but if I use multiple burners I need to crank it up. It is relatively quiet and sounds 'smooth' like a fan without obstruction. Surprisingly it is advertised as 450 cfm, that is double the power of most of the similar priced hoods I am seeing. Now, I have no way of proving it is 450 cfm, but the high setting seems to be drawing a lot of air. You also get your choice between ducted (mine) or a ductless filtered system. I advise going ducted if you can, because it is less maintenance and the smells go outside rather than clogging a filter. Now, interestingly, this unit blows the Samsung model out of the water when it comes to actual surface area of the hood that draws air. The Samsung has a 30 inch model with about a 15 inch area that draws air. This one is much wider to (I think) draw more air. So, these factors are why I am giving it a 5 star review. I also saw that Comfee won a consumer award for some appliance, so the manufacturer seems legit. Yet, I still have reservations about the feather weight appliance that enables such great technology. Firstly, I have read the reviews before posting my own. Not one of the 11 reviews mentioned the gesture controls, but instead referred to the touch controls. I assume this is because the gesturing might take time to get used to (waving your hand instead of touching a button). But it might be because it isnt working. Indeed, when I first received my unit I was standing in front of the sensor (do not block the sensor) and my gesturing was inoperable. I ended up getting a replacement because I did not think gesturing worked. And in reality, it seemed to vary according to how fast/hard I waved my hand. And we have to wonder how often the smoke and grease will clog the sensors? I have no idea about that. I also worry about digital controls. How long will they last, as compared to manual controls? With all of this said, for the added technology and the more powerful cfm (which I think is safer as it pulls more exhaust out of the living area) and the wider area for the fan to operate as compared to competitors, I still give it 5 stars. I suppose the worst that could happen is needing to replace it after couple of years (it has a one year warranty). All up, it is kinda cool and a little awesome if you have appropriate expectations.

Stainless steel extractors are always expensive. I bought this one to save some money and it is perfect. It has 3 fan speeds, on max it is very porwerful. It looks great and the size fits perfectly over the stove since it is 30". The metal is thick enough to not bend but it is also very light. It gives that needed fancy touch to the kitchen in a small budget.
