This is a well made and is soft - down size there are NO pockets. The material is nice and thick. The length is medium - I am 5' 7" and it goes to my hip area. I weight 180 lbs and got the XXL - which is a size up for me and I am glad I did because it was just right. A smaller size and it would have been too tight. I wore it to bed when it was cold, wore it with layers under it during the day--stayed plenty warm. Stayed dry from humidity when most other clothing did not.
