I work at a nursery. Even in the colder months I am working outside in mud, rain, light snow. Still watering plants here and there, and on my feet all day. These are so comfortable! I had about 5 pairs I tried on and needed to choose from- ultimately it was the way these fit that helped me choose. I typically wear a size 8W, so that's what I chose here. Ive got the wide feets, so if you got them too then you know- finding a comfortable pair of shoes or boots can be a challenge that often leads one to just give up. Not in this case. These are very lightweight- I don't feel like I'm lugging around boots. I feel light on my feet but sturdy and warm. And most important, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. So far, these have remained waterproof and that has impressed me. I've been in light rain, drenching rain, light snow , mud and wore these while watering plants in the greenhouse. They function just as they say they do. I did not have to break these in. Good to go out of the box! Color is great, looks just as advertised. Happy with the purchase and hope they last me a while. Ive only been wearing them for one month, and they still fit like the day I tried them on. I'm hoping these will continue to perform and hold up during peak season, Spring-Summer, where I'll be putting them to the real test.

I read the reviews for these shoes before buying and they were right! I did not need to break them in, didn't need insoles. I took these on a 2 day hiking journey in Telluride and they were incredible! I hiked up and down very steep mountain side locations and was in awe on how the sole of these shoes gripped onto the soil like hands! While hiking with a heavy backpack and video gear these shoes had my back. I have runners knees and am overweight but was able to complete the whole trip without pain to my legs, feet and knees. I never slipped or fell due to the soles of these shoes! They are also waterproof and kept my feet dry when walking through water, my feet stayed warm and ankles were secured as well! I highly recommend these shoes for anyone going on a extreme adventure through nature. Happy Hiking!! 😊

These boots are so comfortable! I have been a die hard Timberland hiking boot fan for the past 12 years, but my last pair just didn’t feel as good as they had in the past. I went on the hunt for a different boot and I’m so glad I took a chance on these. I have always worn an 8.5 but based on other reviews I ordered a 9 in these and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot with a very high arch. When I put these on I thought these feel like slippers with support! I walk my dog 4 miles most days, so these are a welcome relief. I sprayed them twice with a silicon spray by Kiwi. I have only walked through wet grass so far and my feet stayed dry. I live in Indiana, so it won’t be long before the fall rains and snow will begin. I have high hopes that my feet will stay dry with properly treating these again with the silicone spray. I will update my review once the weather changes here. Another thing I won’t to mention is the ability to lace these tightly or loosely based on the width of your feet. The boots were comfortable and not stiff right out of the box, so you’ll be able to lace them how you need without breaking the boots in. I hope this helps and that you’ll enjoy them as much as I do. First pair I returned as they were too small for hiking. I wear a size 6 1/2 so ordered a half size up as hiking you need room at the toe. Half size up was too small but full side up worked for me. Seems comfortably but I haven’t done long hikes with them yet.

Just wore these on a challenging hike in Hawaii through mud, water, and rocks. They protected my ankles from getting twisted multiple times, remained waterproof while walking through muddy puddles, and gripped slippery rocks covered in wet mud. They are also very comfortable to just walk around in. I am thoroughly impressed. Definitely worth the price!

I ordered this reading all the reviews about how comfortable and waterproof these shoes are. But while I did not use it in wet conditions, I wore it for 3 long hikes so far and have to say the comfort could definitely have been better. They are definitely not as cushiony or comfortable as my sketchers sneakers. Hiking downhill really hurt my toes and left my feet feeling raw. While they may be durable and waterproof I wish Columbia would include cushioning to those qualities.

Besides using these several times a year for the past few years on my hikes in the Northeast Appalachians, I have 2 cats at home who are obsessed with attacking and trying to rip them apart. They are still standing strong. I don't know if I'll ever need to purchase another pair for the rest of my life at the rate they have been lasting me but if I do, these would be it. So comfortable and so much ankle support which is much needed from my trimalleolar fracture 3 years back. Love love love these!
