  • Lightweight, waterproof and well made
Size: 2X Color: Dark Sapphire
Very happy with this rain jacket, the material is not thick but the wind resistance is excellent, the jacket keeps me surprisingly warm. I really like the way it fits, the length hits me hip level. I also like the color, I bought the blue not too bright but not a dark navy either. The jacket is very well made and a good price too. Machine washable and comes out of the dryer with no wrinkles! ... show more

  • Great lightweight jacket for Curvy Gals!
Size: 2X Color: Geyser
I needed a packable raincoat for camping as I’ve been caught in a couple of downpours while setting up and breaking down camp. We were heading into a weekend and the forecast called for heavy rain, so I knew ordering from Amazon may be slim pickings but was impressed to find this at such a great price! I think I got it on sale for around $34. It’s incredibly lightweight however, the morning I wore it, I had a short sleeve shirt on and then a sweatshirt on and felt pretty warm! Main thing is it kept me dry although we didn’t have any downpours as the forecast had called for, so I cannot attest to that at this moment. Just some light drizzle. I really like the zip pockets and that the front zipper comes all the way up to keep your face kind of covered, allowed you to adjust the hood if needed. I’m usually a 2x in tops and sometimes I size up to 3x in jackets for layering room, but this worked perfectly. I was able to zip it just fine with thicker clothes on and move around breaking down our tents and camp without being restricted. Love the bright color-it’s not too bright to be obnoxious neon lol! But just a pretty blue. There’s also Velcro at the cuffs but not quite sure how you’d really adjust those to make it tighter around your wrist without it being uncomfortable? Either way, this did the job I needed it for. I was able to fold it up and it would definitely fit In a backpack for hikes. If you’re plus size and on the fence go for it. I’m also 5’7 around 240 if that helps. I’m a big review reader so I like to be specific to help others make decisions. :) ... show more

  • Great buy, I stayed dry
Size: Large Color: Black
I purchased this jacket a couple of months ago in Black and in a size Large. For reference I am 5'8" and have a shorter torso and long legs (about 34" inseam). It really got put to the test on a recent camping trip to Montana where it rained sporadically for a couple of days. One day we were on a hike in Glacier National and got caught in the open during a sudden torrential downpour. I am happy to report that my entire upper body stayed DRY!! I even had friends take a photo of me afterwards with the jacke topen to show how dry I stayed. The only part that got wet was at the very top by my neck and collar of my shirt...and that's because I didn't zip the jacket all the way up for the entire rainy spell. Fashion wise the black fit in well with whatever I wore, and honestly, after getting caught in rain like that, fashion was the last thing on my mind 😅 I am SO happy I made this purchase. It was functional, lightweight to travel with, and extremely easy to stuff into my hiking back as a just-in-case item. Without it, I think this recent trip would have been slightly miserable at times. Great buy!!! ... show more

  • Withstood torrential Florida downpour!
Size: X-Large Color: White/Flint Grey
I spent Labor Day weekend amusement park hopping and knew in advance to expect afternoon storms. I purchased this jacket specifically for this trip because I’m smarter than the average bear and actually look at that weather app on my phone. So when the skies opened up, instead of running around like the thousands of people scrambling to purchase overpriced plastic garbage bags/ponchos, I grabbed this jacket out of my backpack. First. I am a size 14 and am 5 feet tall with shoes on. I normally wear a large but bought the XL to have extra room. I’m glad I did, because I was able to fit my Lulu cross body underneath with ease, which was helpful because it was raining sideways. The sleeves are adjustable so while they were long, I was able to cinch them around my wrists. The jacket held up to the gusty winds but I didn’t get overheated, even when the rain slowed to a trickle and the humidity felt like a greenhouse. The jacket's zippered pockets really came in handy! I was able to throw my phone in my pocket and not worry about it getting wet, and an added plus is that I could ride the crazy coasters without fear of it falling out. I purchased the white color because it was on sale and am slightly worried about cleaning it when I get home (lipstick got on it) but even if I can’t get it out, I won’t care. This jacket served its purpose well and I couldn’t be happier! I stayed nice and dry, even on water rides. ... show more

  • Lightweight & truly waterproof jacket, runs SLIGHTLY small.
Size: Small Color: Black
First a note about fit; I debated for a long time between the S and the M. I read all the reviews, and it seemed a mixed bag with what people were saying as sizing goes. I am 5'4", 120lbs with a small upper body. I went with the S and I am glad I did. It fits perfectly. Not too big, not too small. I will say tho - I am petite especially in my upper body, so if you have especially broad shoulders, a large chest, or more muscular arms, you would want a M. The length is great for me; lands just below my hips. I believe there's a longer length version if you want one that covers the entire backside. Sleeve length is OK, I have long arms and the sleeves don't cover my hands (which I prefer) but they probably would on a normal arm person. It's pouring rain here so I got to test the jacket out immediately. It kept me very dry, the hood is fantastic and you can cinch it up to where only your nose and eyes are showing and it forms a little cap over your forehead so it's very well-constructed. This is a lightweight jacket which is fine for me in Texas, but if I was in cooler temps I would definitely need it to be a shell with warmer layers underneath. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase! If anything needs to be added I'll update this review as I'm about to take this jacket on a camping trip and really test it out. ... show more
