I’ve had several of these vests and like the comfort, looks and quality. I’ll keep buying them as long as Columbia keeps making them. I’m a big guy and XXXL is a good fit. XXL isn’t bad either… a bit snugger but long enough and still comfortable.I have a couple of both. The only addition I’d make is a zippered breast pocket for a phone.

These also fit small. I ordered the medium based on the sizing chart. It was too small. It wears fine if I don't try to zip it closed and only wear a tshirt or thin shirt under it. I re-ordered a LARGE that I can zip up comfortably. I'm 5'6, 180 so definitely on the fluffy side but the size chart definitely runs too small. Other than that, nice vest and I like it so far. I kept both because they are inexpensive and I can give the smaller one to a friend of mine. I would definitely order a size larger than the chart indicates for you.

This vest deserves 5 stars. I purchased the 3x plus. I weight 265 lbs with a large frame. The length of the vest is long enough to cover my torso. The vest is made with 100% polyester fleese and is light enough to maneuver around. This vest has two pockets that can be zipped closed with two large pockets in the inside of the vest. Great vest for wearing with layers of clothes or to be worn by itself. I'm think of getting a second one of a differeby color.

I've purchased many Columbia clothing products over the years. I've NEVER been disapointed in the quality, durability and styling. Seems that everytime I decide to "economize" and buy an off brand ... I regret it and either give it away or donate it years later when I'm cleaning a closet out looking for more space. This vest is stylish and of excellent quality. It's warm but yet light weight and provides extra pockets for carrying more "stuff". I'm pleased as usual with a Columbia clothing product ...

Columbia Steen is the benchmark for everyday vesta for a long long time. This one is excellent. Many sizes and colors to choose from. I like the men's tall the best to get one a little longer and this one is right on. I am 6'and 185 the men's XL tall gives me room and fits very comfortable.. Great vest

I will continue to buy Columbia products as they are a high quality product at a great price and the fit of their medium is always right on for me. This vest and a black one same version, must have been made at an inferior factory. The green one (I like the color) has an inferior material and construction when compared to a used heather gray Steen's Mountain Vest I bought on eBay. Also the main zipper of the green vest is sewn in an "S" curve instead of straight. The black vest looks like a midnight blue, not a true black. If you look at the photo of the green on Amazon the zipper looks better than mine but not by much. It too is a mountain road. I can't say yours will look the same but I will be looking for an alternative to this vest. I waited too long and can't return it. I am considering the green Columbia Powder Pass Vest. I already have a black P.P. Vest coming. The Steen's Mountain Vest I bought on eBay is older and I think better quality all around. I did notice it has the embroidered Columbia logo (good) and the green vest and the black vest have the sewn on logo. I would only buy a Steen's Mountain Vest with an embroidered logo.
