Like I said, I just got these so I cannot speak to how theyu are going to wear, but the combination of a super-comfortable shoe with the price about half of the outrageous name brands makes these shoes a huge BEST BUY for me. These shoes are WAY less money than many of the overpriced competitors. Co-workers talked me into buying a high-end hiking shoe and I spent twice as much for those shoes as these Columbia’s. The expensive shoes didn’t fit as well, took forever to break in and are still not as comfortable as these. Even if these fall apart (and they show no signs of excessive wear over the last 90 days +) I could replace them and still be under the cost for the high-end shoes. Tried about 5 different pairs of hiking shoes and these were so much more comfortable for me on the first try. On the first time I wore them, I wore them for a 16-20 mile hike and they were great. I just bought the waterproof ones so I have both options.

Wore my previous order of this same shoe until I had to put a tire tube patch on the left to cover a split and put holes thru the leather on the left to remediate the failed fabric eyelets. Laces were replaced 2 yrs ago by 550 cord. But still the most comfy shoes I've ever owned, as witnessed by the identical order. (P.S. only replaced because my wife said I had to....) ... show more

Review for Columbia Men's Crestwood Hiking Shoe. Dellivery is fast, Quality of materials is good, but insole is a little bit hard compare to Sketchers any insole. So after 3 days of walk my feet hurts a little.

I considered that some reviews recommended sizing up, but I ordered in my normal size 11. Absolutely perfect fit, as a matter of fact, they're so comfortable out of the box that I can't wait to see what they're like after broken in! These are my new summer "beater" shoes and I'm glad they're not waterproof as I'd prefer a cooler shoe when it's hot. As a bonus, they're good looking shoes that seem well constructed from quality materials. Update: After wearing these for a month now, couldn't be more pleased. Not only super comfortable, but they have excellent traction on all surfaces. Only a month in, but zero issues with durability...these just might be my go to shoes from now on! ... show more
