Description
Shark Wheels produce less friction when the wheels are in motion, producing a smoother ride at higher speeds. Combined with California-made high-rebound polyurethane which gives the skateboard extra speed, range, and comfort. The Shark Wheel spins as it slides acting like a car's antilock brakes. The sine wave design provides three lips on each wheel while the traditional wheel only has one lip. This provides superior lateral grip for when you want to slide, they break away smoothly and recover easily. Shark Wheels tend to push small objects left and right, out of the way when riding to produce a smooth ride. These Wheels were designed to explore the world, whether it be down backroads, taking hard curves, or at the skate park. Shark Wheel is based and manufactured out of California, dedicated to developing innovative and technologically sound wheels in the marketplace. David Patrick’s discovery led to the reinvention of the wheel, which is flat on six sides and displays many performance advantages such as friction in motion, longevity, rebound, abrasion resistance, and off-road performance. Shark Wheel worked with the Mechanical Engineering Department out of San Diego State University to ensure the sine wave motion of the Shark Wheel was able to perform through lab and real world applications. Shark Wheels are made in California and strive to have the best high-rebound polyurethane in the world. This leads to a fast and smooth riding experience for the skateboarder.
