These are hydrogel eye masks that are designed to sit under your eye and deliver extra hydration and moisture. Hydrogen can rip sometimes so you have to be careful but these are actually pretty durable overall. After putting them on for about 30 minutes, my skin felt more plump and more moisturized. Definitely a lightweight with moisture so I would follow with a cream. I don’t think that any topical product is gonna change the color of your eyes circles. You just need to sleep more so I’m not docking stars because my dark eye circles remained dark. These are my go-to eye masks. I first discovered their eye cream that has spf and color correction and then I tried these. They make a big difference in my fine lines and puffiness and I use them whenever I have a presentation or event that day. Why did you pick this product vs others?: These masks are life savers. I use them for events, when I travel put them on during a flight, and gift them to friends. I love the smoothing effect and how they stay in place.

Previously, I used silicone patches that were “juicy” and slid down constantly, requiring frequent repositioning. The sticky active ingredient side of the Colorescience patches reminded me of the sticky surface of the bug strips I just bought; they were that sticky. The first time I tried them, I got my thumb stuck to it before I managed to place it under my eye . Once it adhered though, it stuck! I was able to finish drying and curling my hair without having to reach up and adjust the patches even once, so I was pleased that the moisturizing routine didn’t take up a lot of extra time. I was concerned that the Colorescience patches might pull at the delicate skin when I removed them, simply because they adhered so well upon application, but I didn’t have any problem at all removing them. Because I felt there was still some product left, I placed one of the used patches on the smile line beside my mouth, and then placed the other on a frown line between my eyebrows. Shouldn’t have done that. All four areas – two undereye areas, smile line area, and frown line area showed improvement. The next day, however, I had a small blemish where I had put the patch along the smile line. Lesson learned that they’re too hydrating for anywhere but under the eye and the hydrating gel will clog my pores; from now on I’ll use only as intended. The photo shows the results I got after only the second time I used the patches. I didn’t see much improvement in color, but it sure smoothed out the fine lines on the single side I used it.
