It really does color match. Comes out white and blends to your skin tone. I did the lightest shade “FAIR”. I have combo, textured skin and mild well controlled rosacea, so I was really nervous that the product was just gonna sit in my lines/ creases — it did NOT — it looks flawless and it covers all my redness. I feel so confident. I found this product from an ad as I was scrolling Instagram. I normally don't pay much attention to those, but the girl in the ad really did a good job, unlike most of the annoying as heck "influencers" I see these days. I am pushing 50 with mature, oily skin and have been struggling to find light but decent coverage with SPF. I have been using IT Cosmetics illuminating CC cream for years, but it tends to sit on my skin and get greasy and separate and slide off. I recently tried the highly rated La Roche-Posay tinted sunscreen and that was way too thin and watery, not enough coverage. I decided to try this product, intrigued by the way it starts out white but matches your skin tone. This stuff is magic. And it only takes a small amount! It looks like makeup but it's sunscreen. The coverage level is perfect, and and it was also important to me that there were no benzones as the sunscreen ingredient. This is mineral, zinc oxide. I absolutely love this product. I had been using higher end tinted moisturizers with SPF for years only to find out that those types of moisturizers don’t protect like as well as an SPF product. Colorscience Flex is not a moisturizer however it’s a great SPF that’s tinted! It’s long lasting, goes on smooth and provides the perfect coverage. I’m in my early 50’s and have been a diehard fan of the tinted La Roche-Posay Anthelios for many years. I decided to give this a try because I wanted something a little less shiny. I don’t wear foundation usually and I also thought this might be a closer match to my skin tone and a better “in-between” as an alternative to foundation. The color effect is perfect. The medium color does walk the line between sunblock and foundation in an amazing “airbrushed” way. I do have two initial issues with it, though. First, it’s much harder to apply, because I have to rub it in longer to make it absorb. (Though this indicates that I need less product.) Secondly, and time will tell if it’s a dealbreaker, my skin is dryer. This might prove to be a blessing over the summer and because of the fantastic color match I’m willing to give it a shot. I will say, if you’ve tried La Roche and found it too dewy and maybe a little less than optimal as a color match, this would be perfect. It’s thick, blends well and dries matte. Others have mentioned the price, but I’d say because it’s high coverage, a bottle will last longer than it seems and all of the great sunblocks are pricy. ... show more

I love the look and feel of this product. However, there are two issues for me that might not apply to others. I had to buy two shades to mix together to get closer to my skin tone. I know CS has recently added 2 more shades to their collection. The other issue is that it is making me breakout.
