I didn’t expect much out of this but was pleasantly surprised. I have very thick wavy hair that is time consuming to blow dry all the time. During the week I usually just let it air dry and tie it up so I don’t have to spend time on it - it tends to frizz when air dried. I divided my hair into 4 sections and used a pea-size amount in each. Ran it through ends to root and then ran a blow dryer brush over it, maybe about 1 minute total per section. I’m amazed how well it worked to instantly smooth and straighten. It’s of course not 100% like a blow out, but the majority of my hair is much straighter and tamed. I will say it made my roots look a little oily, which tends to be an issue I have with leave-in products. Threw in a quick blast of dry shampoo just at the root afterwards and that helped. I also am someone who hates the feel of anything in my hair. I can definitely tell there is something in it, but it’s not super sticky or tacky. Will need to see how well it holds up past 1 day and in some heavy humidity, but even if this is just great for a last-day-before-washing fix, I think it’s worth it!

For those of you who end up reading this and were underwhelmed w/ this product as I was, I thought I’d share my experience by adding a 2nd product first to wet hair. As a stand-alone, it didn’t work, and the Wow on dry as a stand alone didn’t work. But the 2 together - I’ve done it 3 times now and am extremely happy with the results. I’ll write 2nd product here, not sure if it’s allowed. Goldwell Flat Marvel. Apply to wet hair and can blow dry or dry naturally. Then add Wow to dry hair, then use round boar hair brush w/ very warm blow dryer. Good luck!

Wow! That’s all I can say about this. I used to use dry shampoo’s on second day hair but not anymore! This stuff is magical on my hair second day and even third! A small amount smoothed over dry hair and then heat activated by your blowdryer transforms my hair to a smooth, not oily, full volume hair style that I just love! It makes my hair look and feel healthier too! I am a 55 yo with lots of thin hair and this stuff is awesome!

I had high hopes for this product, and while it does deliver in some areas, it falls a bit short overall. The product quality feels decent and it smooths my hair quickly, but the heat protection aspect is questionable—I didn’t notice much difference compared to my regular cream when using hot tools. The scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering, which I appreciate. It does add a nice bit of shine right after applying, and my hair looks healthier at first glance. However, the effect doesn’t last very long; the longevity is limited, and I find myself needing to reapply if I want the same frizz-free look throughout the day. As for hold, it’s pretty minimal—good if you like soft, touchable hair, but not ideal if you need something that keeps styles in place. For the price, I think it’s fine for quick fixes, but not a holy grail product.

This stuff is like magic in a bottle! In the picture the left side is without one minute transformation and the right is with a little dollop finger racked through and the results speak for themselves! My hair looks 💯 healthier, shinier and my split ends are cleaned up. A little goes a long way which is good because this stuff is kind of pricey but well worth the purchase. Sooo happy I’ve found something that works! Subtle, light clean scent.

I have some of the other ColorWow products and really like them, especially the texture spray. This one was Just ok. It is not the miracle frizz control the videos made it out to be. I bought it to use on the days I don’t wash my hair to smooth it back out. It works ok, but I still have some fly aways and some frizz. I don’t really see any difference in the volume of many hair. I’ve used it on dry hair just smoothing it through my hair and brushing without using the dryer and also with using the dryer (always starting with dry hair). I have a lot of hair but it is fine so maybe this product is a little too heavy for my hair. I’ll keep using it but probably won’t buy this one again. Others may have better luck by it’s a no for me.
