I have very frizzy curly hair... I'm very pleased with this product my first try.. I sprayed it after my shower and let it air dry... Definitely helped with the defining my curls...not 100% frizz free but soft to the touch and no unpleasant smell

I have naturally curly blonde hair because I am Irish. It was very thick and luscious and shiny. At first this product made my hair, amazing and spectacular but now I am losing it and that is the only thing that has changed and my hair product routine it has fallen out almost half and it looks terrible so I’m gonna discontinue this product and see where I go from there.     • Less frizzy curls

I have naturally curly hair and I try any product for curly hair that I hear about so of course I ordered this. On the positive side my curls had less frizz and seemed to be shinier. It didn't seem to weigh my hair down. It says to saturate the hair so you end up using a lot of product every time - depending on the length of your hair, of course. Since you're not supposed to use it with any other products I wish it had a nice scent to it but it had virtually no scent. On the not-so-positive side I wish it had defined my curls more. Because my curls are not all the same - the top layers are less curly than those underneath - this is the one characteristic I am looking for in all the products that I buy. This was a little disappointing in that area. That being said, I do like the product overall and will likely continue to purchase it but will also continue to try other products. I'll be curious to see how it controls frizz in the humid, summer months. ... show more

I’m not one to normally write reviews, but I had to do one for this… I have fine hair, but a lot of it and 2b/2c curls. I tried a million products and my hair would frizz or be crunchy. I was about to give up and just start straightening my hair again and ran across this product. Holy cow!!! I’ve only had it a week, but I can actually now leave my hair down and it consistently looks good. Definitely looks better when using a diffuser vs air dry. There is hardly any frizz, I can actually touch it throughout the day without turning into a puff ball. I read some reviews about the smell, but I don’t smell anything… After sleeping on it, I was able to just wet it and diffuse and good as new!! Loving this so far!! ... show more

I have never tried the "original" spray, just this one for curls. So I do not have that one for comparison. I only gave this 3 stars- I actually do like it a lot but do to the couple of drawbacks I have with it, I doubt I would by it again. I rarely, if ever, have had a curl enhancer that did not provide any sort of hold that actually kept definition in my hair. So I was a bit doubtful this would but I gave it a try anyway. Well, it does not keep it's definition AT ALL unless I have a good hold of some sort - gel, mousse, hair spray, etc. The first time I tried it, I wanted to test it without any hold. Things were going good and my curls actually looked super pretty. I took my dog for a walk and came back to super frizz and hardly any curl definition. I am not even exaggerating. It wasn't windy outside but there was a good amount of humidity, so I am sure that was the main reason - it's humid here more than not. Next time I tried the same but using a diffuser/dryer. Same thing happened. I have tried using it with a dryer and a round brush for large, smooth curls and that does look really nice but I don't want to always style my hair like that. Since those tries, I make sure to always use a really good hold. This spray does still make a difference in the appearance and curl definition, even though I add other product. In fact a really pretty shape and a lot of shine. I love the way it looks but I also find that I have to use a ton of it (I have very thick hair). So I started saving it only for times when I want my hair to look extra nice - like going out and such - since I cant afford to go through this quickly and buy it again so often. I may eventually get more if I want to have it for a special occasion or something but for the most part I will just use my regular curl product. Though, I am now intrigued to try the original spray for the times that I straighten my hair - so I plan to get that soon! ... show more

    • Really does control frizz!!

This product does exactly what it says it does - that is of course if you do exactly what the directions say. I live in a state with high humidity in the spring and summer. My hair is thick and curly and frizzes up with the weather. This product really does tame the frizz and locks in the curl. When I first used it I just sprayed it all over my hair. Didn't do much. My daughter then told me that it's a must to follow the instructions. So I did. I took thick strands of hair spraying both top and bottom. Then I sprayed my bangs and let my hair air dry, scrunching it only a couple of times to keep my curls more relaxed and longer. To my surprise my hair came out just the way I wanted it, long relaxed soft frizz free curls. The secret is to leave it alone once it's dry. Just let it be without putting your hands and fingers through it. This breaks up the curls and can leave it course looking. I have tried so many products in the past and this is the only one that has actually worked. My daughter uses the WOW straight hair spray not the curl. The straight version needs a little more tending to as you have to spray much smaller strands of hair. But either or works wonders!!!! ... show more
