This is such a good size bag in that it fits behind my car seat and it keeps the contents cold for quite a long time. I took it with me on a road trip and travelled about four hours before I touched the contents, and everything was still cold. The ice packs were still frozen. It held bottles, food containers, fruit, and other things one puts in cooler bags. I feel confident you could use this as a standby "fridge" in a pinch. Picked up at a good time with the heat wave. Doesn't keep ice as well as a dual insulated cooler like the high priced hard plastics, but does a good job for the price. Light and easy to clean, big enough for whatever you need to put in it. Kept in the truck with a half bag of ice and maybe 8 bottles of water, 6 hours into the day the ice was melted. (80 outside, hotter in the truck) but the water wasn't boiling so I can't complain. Good quality material too, pockets do not have much depth, but I don't intend to use them for anything but my cooling towels. Purchase this cooler for a cross country trip. Kept things very cold was easy to access and very roomy. We were able to put in water bottles inside along with some plastic containers with pre made snacks. Since the trip we have used it often as an easy bag to take to the beach or on a quick picnic.

It's sturdy, well made, with several pockets on the outside for storage. The insulation is thick and the outside is a rugged material. I have a slightly larger one I use during the holidays to transport food and this new one will also be useful for that. I purchased the green cooler and it matches my car, so an extra bonus. Toke this on a cross county road trip. We were able to put bags of ice to keep food cold. NO LEAKS!! Which was a big bounce in a rental vehicle. Kept food & drinks cold. And was able to fold it down to fit in suitcase for the fly home.

I have it in my backseat on the floor for my plastic water bottles so the sun doesn’t get them. The bottles will stay cold for long periods of time. I also use it for my frozen food or cold daily products. I’m surprised how many items can fit in there.
