As someone with a long history of complicated dental issues, I've become very particular about my dental products. When my hygienist told me that I needed to work at getting plaque away from my guns, I looked for a product to help with that and found this toothpaste. I've always liked Colgate, but this is an especially excellent toothpaste. It works very well, cleaning my teeth and gums thoroughly and leaving my whole mouth feeling great for hours, even after having my morning coffee. The mint flavor is strong but not overwhelming and fades in a reasonable amount of time. I would not eat or drink immediately after brushing, but you only need to wait a few minutes, not ages. The texture of the paste is smooth on the brush and friths with brushing to a solid foam that covers everything you want to clean. My teeth felt CLEAN the first time I used it and after regular use my mouth definitely feels cleaner than before, even after a night of sleeping open mouthed (thanks, allergies). My teeth are whiter, too. It's worth taking the time to find the toothpaste that works best for you. I have been using this for a week now. First off, the bottle is tiny so I wish it was bigger. I will say that it does leave my mouth feeling very clean and has a nice foam to it. This is like the BEST toothpaste I have ever used. It doesn’t have an overbearing mint taste that makes me gag, and my teeth have never looked whiter. This is the answer to my oral health problems. My teeth and mouth have honestly never felt cleaner nor looked whiter. I love this stuff. Please keep making the toothpaste like this, don’t ever change the formula Colgate! You got yourself a keeper here. I will continue to order this toothpaste as long as the formula remains the same and the mint flavor is kept out! I hate hate HATE mint flavored toothpaste because it makes brushing my teeth a terrible ordeal, but with this one, I actually enjoy brushing my teeth and look forward to it. I’m editing to add that it does a have a mint flavor, but it’s very slight that it doesn’t overpower. Great toothpaste. I’m not sure why, but my teeth certainly feel cleaner for longer throughout the day when I use this. No cause of sensitivity (but I also use another densifying paste). Nice mint flavor, but it does burn my tongue (like a burn of alcohol mouthwash, but not SO much). The texture is not gritty like, but very smooth. I loveee the way it looks and feels with the clear cap, HOWEVER, that is also the only downside for me. It’s not a flip cap like every other one I’ve ever had. This one is a screw cap, so it’s just slightly annoying to have to do that to use & seal it each time. Well, I’ve had some with the small screw caps, but this one is definitely quite bigger/deeper than those. ... show more

Seems every time I purchase Colgate toothpaste they change the formula and in new packaging. This is a great toothpaste and and seems to take care of tartar if you stay on top of it. Teeth feel clean and polished. I like the flavor of the last version better (deep clean or something like that) but is good nonetheless. No doubt Plaque Pro will morph into something else in a few months. ... show more
