When Colgate first came out with the Stannous Fluoride variety, they had a plain white-paste variety, without whitening or deep clean or the other bells and whistles that are offered now. It isn't made anymore (at least that I could find). They've added things to this variety, and they leave the mouth feeling as though one gargled with alcohol (Crest did the same thing). I suppose it gets the teeth cleaner, but I prefer the older version (and not the old-old one with Sodium Fluoride). ... show more
