This is the only toothpaste I use now. It not only delivers a great clean, but it also whitens with regular usage. I drink a lot of tea, so this product has been amazing at keeping the stains at bay. You get two of them so it’s a great value.

    • Has made a considerable difference
I was using those expensive whitening kits that you only get from your dentist and I also had expensive customized trays made to use with whitening gel. I dreaded using them because they are uncomfortable and the whitening process left me with nerve pain for a full week. They did work but it was a hassle and usually I couldn’t finish the whole round of whitening because I just didn’t want to deal with the pain. Also when you are going through the whitening process you can’t consume anything that could potentially stain your teeth (how do you avoid that?! The only way to guarantee that would be to drink only water and eat white foods and who wants to do THAT for a week?!) Wish I would’ve come to this product before I wasted all that time and money. I could’ve saved myself from all that unnecessary pain. I wasn’t sure this paste was working until I went to my dentist to have some work done on a tooth. Both the assistant and the dentist stated they were having a hard time finding a match for my implant because my teeth were so white. After that I made a short video to send to a friend showing her something I had just bought. When I played it back I couldn’t believe how white my teeth looked. It wasn’t that they had improved a little it was more like wow! It was a striking difference. The only downside is that this paste too can cause some pain. I only use it at night because after I used it for awhile - both morning and evening - I noticed my gums felt raw and tender. If you are extra sensitive you might have to use this every other day. I use a different non-whitening toothpaste for my morning brush. I didn’t have overly yellow teeth before I started using this so I can’t attest to its effectiveness for individuals who have a lot of discoloration but I found it worked well for my situation. Overall I would highly recommend this. It is a little pricey but compared to what I was paying for those whitening treatments...it’s a bargain. ... show more

I’ve purchased a number of Amazon tooth bleaching products. Colgate Optic White is by far the best. After using most of a tube, I was surprised and pleased by the difference in my teeth. My husband, who ignored my other whiteners, changed his toothpaste to mine. To roll up the plastic tube, I bought two blue clips. They are inexpensive and work great. ... show more

It's been less than a week since I received the toothpaste but it seems to be working fine. I felt a burning sensation the first few times but it's OK now. My only issue was with the packaging. The box was damaged when I received it. I usually don't care too much about the packaging but the toothpaste box and the toothpaste itself was also damaged. There's a no return policy on this product so there's nothing I can do about it. ... show more

I've been using optic white renewal for years. I use it in combination with other teeth cleaning products and the combo I use seems to work at keeping my teeth white all the time. I would say that if your teeth are already pretty white, this probably won't make a huge difference for you. You need to use it regularly and on a routine, in combination with other dental products to make a difference. Tastes good and lasts a really long time if you use the appropriate amount. Sometimes the product can settle if it's not been moved for a while so before opening a new bottle I would recommend massaging it to stop it from coming out runny. ... show more

    • a great toothpaste for whitening and cleaning
hello, we have been using different toothpastes over the years. this colgate white version is great. continued use keeps the teeth white, free from stains from various food types and drinks. but, there is another usage that works well, too. we had a small stain on our white leather chair. the small amount of colgate white toothpaste rubbed on the stain made it come off after two tries. no streaks, or marks on the white leather. like all new things and leather being different grades from different manufacturers, try it in a inconspicuous area before you try it on the main area. just a little caution will do. ours looks great after the white colgate toothpaste application.
