I bought the Coleman air bed for one of my brothers who came to visit for a week (three family members visited and only two beds). He was the first to arrive and he had his choice (the best bed was reserved for my mom). He tried out the Coleman and thought it comfortable and stayed with it. By the end of the week he still said it was comfortable and had no problems sleeping on it and liked the fact that it was "tall" making it easy to get on and off. It did not seem to lose any air after the 2nd day (the instruction make it known that the first time one uses the air bed that stretching of the vinyl-like material will cause the bed to sag a bit). But once we put a bit more air in it it seemed to hold the rest of the week. The air compressor worked well (both ways ... adding air and reducing air). The top of the bed has a micro-fiber material feel. The rest of the bed is a gray vinyl-like material. The only "worry" I had was that I did not overfill the bed with air. As far as I know, there is no release valve once the bed hits maximum air pressure. I just made sure the bed was firm but did not push the limits and overfill it and cause it to blow. Finally, the bed folds up into a relatively small size making it easy to store. A good product at a good price and have zero regrets in purchasing it. I would recommend this air bed over pricier similar alternatives.

I am moving across country and my bed will be in a trailer for 5 days for the trip. My old air mattress was not going to cut it. So I got this one. Due to some of the negative reviews I took it out and set it up early so I could make sure it'll work for me. Overall I think it's a great air mattress. There is a small amount of air loss in the morning but nothing huge. It's super easy to inflate. I wouldn't use it as a full time mattress. I think as a camping mattress or an occasional mattress it works really well. One of the reason I got this mattress over others was for the fact that it can be filled without useing the built in pump so I can take it car camping with me. I haven't taken it down yet so I don't know how easy it'll fit back into the bag. As others have said it does have a small plastic smell and it makes quite a lot of noise when you move around (it's plastic that's what plastic does). And it's not a true queen size. Closer to a full. Most air mattress aren't going to be true to size. This air mattress does hold its shape well. My cats have climbed all over it and their nails haven't hurt it at all. It's good quality.

There was nothing to dislike about this tent. It held air really well! I filled it up on Friday and didn’t have to add anymore air and we were camping until Monday! It was super easy to setup and get going. Comfort level was great! I pride myself in being able to sleep anywhere, so take that how you want. But it was comfy to me. It was able to withstand my toddler jumping on it when it was first set up and many times after it. The only issue I had is that it was hard to get back into the bag. But it was raining and we were rushing. I think with more time it would’ve gone back into bag perfectly!

I only have a battery operated airbed to compare this too, but to that this coleman blows it away. I don't even need it anymore. This airbed blows up super firm, to the point that i didn't know airbeds can get this firm. This is a great thing, as you won't be sinking at all. Even laid down 3 people comfortably, me at 180lb, my gf at 120lb, and our roommate at 140lb. It does take roughly 4 minutes to inflate, but that's understandable for a bed this big. Also, when inflated it is just high enough where it's not too low, but doesn't seem like a massive balloon in the living room. Perfect height I feel. I also love the deflate feature... makes it much easier to pack back in the bag that it came with, as long as you fold it correctly. My first guests that slept on it love it, and anticipate many more guests to love it as well. Update after almost a year of owning- I've had countless guests use this airbed, and have even loaned it out to friends who had guests come to their place, and every single person has said that this is the best airbed they've slept on. my friends love borrowing it because it's so easy to pack and transport (other than it being a little heavy), but in NYC where most of us dont have cars and use public transport, this feature is always a win. So if you see anyone on the NYC subway carrying this, or hanging off a bicyclist's handlebars, this could be mine on it's way to another satisfied user. One thing I do wish is that the cord could be a little longer. But no biggie for me, I just pack it's own extension cord inside the bag with it.

I had surgery and could not go upstairs to my bedroom. My brother suggested getting this mattress to put in my living. It was so nice to sleep on, high enough to not cause discomfort getting up and down, and so much better than the couch.

This mattress inflates in less than five minutes and holds its air amazingly well. It does lose a small amount of air each night if we use it for consecutive nights, but that is to be expected. It takes a little over 10 minutes to deflate it and it does not have to be plugged in to do so. It has held up to 415 pounds nicely and comfortably, and has also held three kids at once sleeping on it. It is pretty lightweight and easy to put up and take down. This is a very nice mattress for a very nice price! We have only used it for indoor "sleepovers" so far to test it out, but there is an outing planned in the near future. This is a typical trustworthy Coleman product!
