I ordered the tent in October. I finally got to use it in December. For the most part it is a good tent. It is roomy and has acceptable head room. The set-up instructions leave a lot to be desired. Someone inexperienced with tentage might have trouble. Like most Coleman tents the tent pegs are insufficient for any application outside of your lawn. The biggest problem with the tent is the storage bag is too small and it already ripped after the third time I stored it. The seams have seam tape, and I assume they will not leak. However, I cannot attest to that since I haven't used it in the rain. I was able to set it up and tear it down by myself, but I have been camping with a variety of tentage for over 60 years. It would be fairly easy to set up for two people once they figured out the procedure. I give it 4 stars because for the price point it is fairly well made. ... show more

Last year I decided I wanted to start camping. I had not been camping since I was a teen w/my parents decades ago. I wanted to get into the hobby cheap, but not so cheap as to ruin the experience. Just to see if I really would enjoy it or if the nostalgia would wear off fast. I used this tent several times this year and don't regret it one bit. In the pros column: * Plenty of space for a single person. I was able to fit a camping cot, my camping chair, and a 25 gallon bin (as a nightstand) in the tent with enough room to move around. It was snug, but comfortable. * The tent held up to moderate rain on two of my trips - no water got inside. Though there was little wind to drive the rain. * The mostly netting body with the rain fly providing privacy meant that the tent remained relatively cool. But it was still comfortable down into the mid-30s F. And the cons: * The provided stakes were not of the best quality and were a challenge to use in the very rocky sites I went to in the West. * While the tent could remain cool, in direct sunlight on a desert day, it would not. The lone window on the front door meant there was little chance of a cross breeze helping matters much. * Setting up as a solo camper did take some time - definitely not the 5 minutes as advertised. Closer to 15 minutes. * The domed walls do cut down on the usable floor space inside the tent when not sleeping/resting directly on the ground. * Trying to get the tent to fit into the original, machine packed bag, is an exercise in futility. I simply bought a 25 gal. tote to carry the tent, rain fly and ground tarp in. Honestly, for a year's worth of usage to see if I really was going to keep camping, this was the ideal tent. A lot of the negatives on the list are more due to the style of camping I intended to use vs. the style of camping the tent targets. This is more of a heavier, multi-person, backpacking tent whereas I set out to car-camp as a solo person. I have since replaced this tent with a far more expensive, far heavier, and roomier tent for my 2nd season. But this tent fulfilled it's purpose. It let me know camping is something I am enjoying for the hobby it is, and not the nostalgia of years past. ... show more

For the price, this is fantastic. It's tall, so luckily my sister helped me set it up. I'm 5'4 and got dressed inside the tent easily. I had a queen size mattress in there and my sister had a twin mattress in there. Felt roomy. Also kept the rain out !!

Horrible customer service. I've always had the best experience with Coleman until now. I have been trying to put in a warranty claim for over two months. The online form does not allow for me to add the tent model number since it is not one of the seven pre-populated numbers. I called multiple times to ask how to make a claim. Finally they sent an email asking me for details and pictures. I responded to the email with everything they requested. I waited five business days. No response. I sent a follow up email. Again I have waited with no response. My tent is unusable as the corner floor is ripped and coming apart, which will allow water to the tent and which will get worse with use. Meanwhile, as have a family camping trip coming up and a $150 tent that we have used all of two times and that we cannot use any more. So disappointed in Coleman right now. ... show more

My friend and I took this tent to electric forest in 2025. EF is a several day long camping-music festival in June in Michigan-that is known for having a lot of wind and a lot of rain. The wind was so bad that people’s canopies were breaking and flying away. The rain flooded certain parts of the campsite. My friend and I stayed dry and safe in our tent with 0 problems. In fact our neighbors canopy leg snapped in half and poked our tent. You could see it jutting/caving into our tent. Our tent did not rip did not break or anything. The only downside is the zipper is a little annoying, but I do understand that it is an intentional design for other purposes. We got the six person tent and it was enough for us to both fit twin size coats, and stuff in the middle to get dressed and ready. My boyfriend and I also have the four person tent, which is enough for a queen size air mattress, and just enough to shove some things around the side of the mattress. It is also fairly easy to set up. The only struggle was attaching the two highest points based both me and my friend are only 5 foot but we were able to do it. ... show more
