I ordered the tent in October. I finally got to use it in December. For the most part it is a good tent. It is roomy and has acceptable head room. The set-up instructions leave a lot to be desired. Someone inexperienced with tentage might have trouble. Like most Coleman tents the tent pegs are insufficient for any application outside of your lawn. The biggest problem with the tent is the storage bag is too small and it already ripped after the third time I stored it. The seams have seam tape, and I assume they will not leak. However, I cannot attest to that since I haven't used it in the rain. I was able to set it up and tear it down by myself, but I have been camping with a variety of tentage for over 60 years. It would be fairly easy to set up for two people once they figured out the procedure. I give it 4 stars because for the price point it is fairly well made. ... show more

We bought this Coleman tent to prepare for an upcoming camping trip in a few weeks, and as first-time tent owners, we weren’t sure what to expect. Let me just say, we’re so impressed! We did a trial run in our bedroom to make sure we could set it up, and it was super easy. The instructions were clear, and it took us less than 10 minutes to get it fully pitched. The tent feels sturdy and well-made, with plenty of space inside. The ventilation is great, and it even looks nice! Lousy customer support. Broken website when trying to submit a warranty claim online. During my first use, a sudden gust of wind came up and snapped one of the poles. Mine was the only tent at the grounds that was damaged. No worries, a neighboring camper offered to let me use their spare tent so it wasn't a total loss. The headache began when I tried to file a warranty claim for replacement pole. Coleman appears to be an impenetrable fortress of inaccessibility. They offer a "Contact Us" page which doesn't accept your entries, they offer a "File a Warranty Claim Online" option which stops you at the "What is the issue?" prompt, and they don't answer the 800 number they tell you to call. So, I have a useless tent with a broken pole and now have to toss it in the trash along with the Coleman brand. ... show more

My husband and I set this up in our dining room today - just to get a feel for its size, check for any tears, broken zippers, or issues with poles. First of all, it’s huge! As a family of 5, we wanted something large enough for a comfortable camping weekend. My husband and daughter backpack and have tiny, lightweight tents for that purpose - this is NOT that! It took just under 20 minutes for my husband to open it and set it up for the first time; it was pretty simple and I imagine would go much quicker when the two of us set it up together. The first set up is never what they say, it's a learning experience, take your time with it. THEN yeah you can pitch it in about 5 minutes or so. I love this tent, as soon as I got it, it was pitched, and it rained all weekend! Perfect test, perfect tent. Plenty of room. I purchased this particular tent because I can stand up in it.
