I got this because my old cooler just wasn't big enough. Well, this one is plenty large enough!! I wouldn't take it camping, but GLAMPING definitely. The cooler has easy-to-carry handles and an easy-to-open lid to open the space inside is cavernous. I haven't kept things in it for days, but my old cooler was based on the same design as this one, and it was keeping my items frozen/cold for at least 3 days in the summer heat. I don't see why this one won't either, as long as you keep the lid tightly closed and only open it when needed. It kept all our food and drinks cold for hours, even in our Florida heat, and it’s easy to roll, maneuver, and store away when not in use. This is a huge cooler, the handles are sturdy and the lid stays closed securely, but is still easy to open. The plug is leak proof, and connected so if you take it off it shouldn't get lost. I got this cooler particularly because of how light it is for the large size of it. I needed a really big cooler that could store my veggies during the winter time when it’s not being used. This is how I’ve been using it since I got it, and now that the weather is warming up, it’ll be used for our typical warm weather activities: fishing, camping, and our family bbqs. It’s incredibly light for such a large cooler, I can pick it up empty easily on my own. And most importantly, it did an awesome job at keeping my veggies cool., the lid closes with a tight seal.
