I’ve become the unofficial GameChanger streamer for both of my boys’ teams, and this Spring alone I’ve streamed around 45 games using my iPhone. While I typically use a magnetic mount for quick setup on chain-link fences, several fields, especially for my older son's games have net backstops where magnets won’t work. That’s where this mount comes in. It uses carabiner-style clips that attach well to netting or thin fences, making it much more versatile in those situations. The phone holder is a screw-tighten design rather than spring-loaded. That makes it a bit slower to get your phone in and out, but it’s more secure, which matters when wild pitches or foul balls are flying at the fence. This mount also features front-to-back adjustability, which helps with positioning and framing your shot to minimize the fence or net in the view. That's something a similar mount I bought didn't do, so I replaced it with this one. My biggest gripe (which is really very minor) is the included bag, it’s sized more for a power bank and doesn’t fit the full mount setup. So the main bracket still ends up rolling around in the back of my car with the rest of the baseball gear. All that said, I keep this mount in the car at all times. It’s a dependable backup that works well on fields where my go-to mount isn’t an option. If you're regularly streaming games like I am, it's worth having both types.

If you use Game Changer, this is a must. It works well to hold the phone in a stable position. It gets just the right angle to stream the games for family and friends. It is easy to install to the fence. It stays attached with no worries of dropping the phone. It held up through the season. I see no wear and tear on it. I expect it will last for season to come.

Pros: Universal Fit: It works with a variety of devices—I've used it with my phone and tested it with a GoPro. No issues there. Flexible Placement: The hook-on style gives you freedom to mount it anywhere along the fence, not just near a pole. That part I actually liked—especially when you need a better angle and poles are taken. Cons: Shaky Footage, Constantly: This is where it really falls short. The slightest flap of a butterfly wing in New Zealand will shake your footage. I’m not even joking—players walking past or even slight wind can cause the image to wiggle like it’s filming from a trampoline. Not Dugout-Friendly: If you're anywhere near the dugout or where there’s regular movement, it’s even worse. You basically need to film from the far outfield and pray for still air while your kid is pitching. Lighter Build: Compared to other fence mounts I’ve reviewed through Vine, this one just doesn’t feel as stable. The hooks don’t grip as firmly, and there’s no shock absorption built in. This is the third fence phone mount with a shade I’ve reviewed through Vine, and it’s easily my least favorite. While it does technically work, the shaking makes it hard to recommend unless you’re filming in absolute stillness—like during a geological age of calm.

Hooked to the fence with easy. I love that the fence clips are actually metal too and not plastic. The sunshade is goes on with ease and has cut outs for the elastic band to go through. It’s very easy to adjust and get that perfect shot through the fence. Holds your phone no problem. the build of this is as advertised it’s metal beside the thumb screws.
