I've used this tent a few times already. The last time I used it we had torrential rains. My campsite flooded almost up to Midway on my car door. We were able to unstake the corners of this tent easily and carry it to Higher Grounds. With all of the water not one drop of rain got inside of this tent. Everybody and the campground was so impressed how dry the inside of my tent was. I do wish I got the six person tent for additional sleeping room. When putting an extra large cot inside the tent it doesn't leave much room for anybody else. I think the color of this tent is fantastic! I'm hoping to find a rain tarp to hang above it matching the same color red. Everybody that passes the tent compliments how nice the color is. I was so impressed with the color I had to go out and buy towels and washcloths to match. I bring reclining lawn chairs that match the tent exactly! The brilliant red color makes camping with this tent even more fun. Purchased to back up tents just in case anything goes wrong with this tent. Now I won't have to worry about them going out of stock. The price was very affordable. I highly recommend this tent and I would and have already repurchased. ... show more

    • Weathered 2 days of rain, no problem.
I was not expecting 2 days of rain on the first outing with this tent, but it served the purpose and was dry inside the whole time. Easy to put up. I think it was well worth the money.

    • Easy one person set up
Easy for one person set up. My only problem is with the split door you have to inflate an air mattress inside because you can't get a queen-sized mattress through the door. Overall very pleased with the product.

I received my tent today, and decided to put it up for testing and review. It is well packed and easy to store. I set the tent up in very breezy weather. The wind was about 12 to 15 miles per hour with some really heavy gusts every now and then. I was very impressed at how easy it is to assemble this tent. It went up in less than 10 minutes for everything in spite of the wind. I was able to assemble it by myself . The one thing that I did was to change out the tent stakes for 10 inch steel stakes that they sell at Walmart. I have done this with every tent that I have bought since 1995 . I really like the six inch border on the flooring. It will be an advantage on rainy days. A 9 x7 tent is not really for four people. for two it is excellent, for three it is okay, but four is really cramming them in there. If you want a four man, buy Coleman's six man tent. The tent was really stable in the wind, and I am sure that the tent will be really dry if you put the rain fly on properly. I like the tent a lot and would buy it again in a heartbeat. ... show more

    • The perfect tent for casual campers.
Maybe not the lightest for backpacking but you could definitely do it if you wanted to. This tent is easy to set up and looks cool. The top is removable so you can look at the stars.

This tent was great, even in a downpour. Just make sure you stake out the sides of the rainfly, so the water is slaked away from the sides if the main tent. Me, my woobie and my beloved queen...ah, heaven.

Bought this tent because I needed something bigger than my 2 person. I did use my queen sized air mattress which took up almost the entire tent.
