Tent was very easy to set up with everything being color coded. We had a storm pass through and did not have a single leak in our tent. We did spray it with rain shield spray just in case and had the tent on top of a tarp, but we are still very happy with the overall quality. I'm 61 years old, and I grew up with Coleman products. So naturally when I was looking for a nice camping tent, I looked for Coleman products because they had always been very high quality. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of this tent. Although it was very spacious and I love the design, after only a few uses the fabric started getting crispy and rotted and then finally just started tearing. The good: Big tent with more room for our family to spread out. Good airflow for warmer weather. High enough ceiling for 6ft3 dad Inexpensive compared to other options. Durable so far. After waterproofing attention and properly staked and guyed it handled 20-30 mph breezes in a rainstorm pretty well. Good amount and locations of storage pockets and hanging points inside. Neutral: If you’ve set up camping tents before, you’ll figure it out pretty quick. Can do it solo but an extra person really helps. “Room divider” is pretty much transparent, so if you’re looking for a privacy screen not so much. The not so good: Might need attention for waterproofing. Out of the box, ours seeped water through the fabric in a couple places and had an exposed seen that didn’t get sealed. Two and a half cans of spray on waterproofing and a bottle of seam sealer addressed. Design puts weird pressure on the zipper. At certain points the zipper is very tough to work smoothly and often needs two hands to avoid catching the rain flap in the zipper. Rain rain stayed away! We have camped twice in this tent in South Carolina, both times we had torrential torrential rain for hours and hours and we stayed dry inside. We did spray it with a waterproof spray to make sure it stayed dry, It was relatively easy to setup and great value for money. The tent is pretty and roomy, but on the first camp trip, got a hole in the bottom. I missed a small stick under the tent. The tent was easy to set up. I highly recommend doing it with two people. We had only one point when we were confused as to what to do. It was in putting the rainfly on and the red pole that is the front door overhang. It wasn't obvious where the pole went but we eventually figured it out. The instructions are very generic and didn't address this part of assembly. It is very big which was perfect for our family of 5. We camp with 3 twin air mattresses and a DiscOBed bunk bed. There is plenty of room for this set up and for maneuvering around. It is definitely tall enough for standing upright. Large windows were great for ventilation! The only concern will be making sure we get camping spots that can accommodate it. Love this tent so far! ... show more
