I couldn't fit the claimed 18 cans into the cooler and have room for any ice. 12-15 cans is more realistic. Best ice retention was less than 8 hours... Nowhere near the claimed 20 hours.     • Unexpectedly AWESOME- LOVE this so much we fight over it
We used this folding soft-sided Coleman bag with 6 medium sized igloo maxcold blocks and and wow! However I’d buy 7 blocks next time, and they fit perfectly for this bag. Everyone was impressed about how super chilly and frosty drinks are even in summer after a long day at San Diego Comic Con -inside and outside this bag performs beautifully and the recommended ice blocks fit nicely and help for max performance without taking up all the room. Now husband and I fight over it, GREAT bag, much better than expected- knew it’d be serviceable but didn’t expect WOW. Highly recommended! I wanted to add to this to say: Outlasted any similar bag we’ve bought so far and some cost 2-3x as much. It has stood up to heavy use and the time test says: SUPER GREAT bag- still moving that it’s compact and works so well. Our fav trick is to empty a little bit of water from bottled water pour out a little first and freeze and put a few in with our drinks for extra icy cold 🥶 staying power. ( FYI if you haven’t ever had it happen yet - be careful- If you don’t empty some first it swells when freezes and could burst) Amazed it’s still great and amazed it stays so cold for so long. At best, this will hold 16 11-oz beverage cans and even then the lid will not close properly. And, with 16 cans, there is no room for ice. Disappointed in this product. It will hold 8 cans with room for a layer of ice. While is does stretch a little, I am not sure it would be durable if I crammed it completely full. ... show more

    • Nice, durable mid sized cooler
This cooler is a mid sized cooler, made of sturdy canvas, with an ample shoulder strap. It has a top that zips and flips over the zipper, with velcro strips to keep the flap closed. When open, there are covers to help prevent anything from sticking to the velcro that otherwise would be exposed. This cooler easily fits 8 - 16.9 oz bottles of water standing up. With the bottles of water (9) I can also put in 2 large apples. We usually freeze 4 of the bottles and put the rest in cold. The frozen bottles seem to keep everything cool with my husband in a semi tractor that is not air conditioned, in 90°F weather for a good 8 hours. I am planning to buy 2 more, one for my daughter to take to practice and one for my son to take to work. ... show more

Not too sure about the 20 hour claim. I didn’t get 8 hours before it was 1/3 ice and 2/3 melted ice; and it was in the shade with the outside temp being between 75-80F. That was disappointing. Maybe if the weather was cooler I’d get more than 8 hours? Other than that I do like how it folds up which makes it easy to stow when not in use. Didn’t pay too much for it so really can’t complain. Good size, not too big not too small. Bought it for my son when his fridge died and the new one won’t arrive for three weeks. Stores two days of necessities and a freeze pack.

    • Awesome job at keeping things cold
Just took this on a road trip to Gettysburg and Great Smoky Mountains. Put a ziplock of ice in it at the start of the day and despite being in a hot car for hours, kept everything I've cold and still had some ice left at the end of the day! We're very pleased!

So far it is large enough to hold all our beverages and load it with ice packs (not loose ice). We have used zip lock bags for loose ice and that keeps products cold and you can use it to put in cups for your beverages! The case has kept all our cans and bottles cold (even a small container of half and half) Carrying strap is comfortable to hold and case folds easily for storage. ... show more
