The ducklings are here! We got this Colnceptus 36 Egg Incubator to start hatching our own ducklings and we have been in love with the size and capacity, especially for our bigger babies. Big enough that we can leave a couple of the ducklings in the incubator after they first hatch and not have to worry about them damaging or sticking to the other eggs. There are also a plethora of functions that make it extremely easy to use for a beginner. This incubator comes with 7 rollers which is plenty for our needs. The rollers roll smooth and accurate via the function you have it set to. The base is simple yet sturdy with an easy to set up configuration. The top has all of the wires and components up high and tight. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. Set up is fast, easy, and intuitive and clean up is a breeze with a simple rinse out of the base. The top function display has all of your function buttons for settings, temperature, humidity, timers, and different preset modes. This incubator gets to temperature extremely fast, holds temperature consistently, and best of all gets back to temperature after opening within seconds. The humidity has been consistent and the automatic waterer has a universal thread so you can put small bottles or large bottles in it. There are more extra amenities to this incubator. There is a candlerer on the top so you can candle your eggs right off of the incubator. It comes with an array of extra spray bottles and a 12v power hook up. The bonus mini feeder and waterer are the perfect size for day old chicks and ducklings. Dont forget to keep the bottom foam as it is part of the incubator and helps keep temperature nd humidity in. This is my honest review of CoInceptus 36 Eggs Incubators for Hatching Eggs ($79.99). I really wanted to love this incubator because, on paper, it has just about every feature you could ask for. Unfortunately, after using it, I found that it simply wasn't the right fit for me. There are definitely plenty of positives. It has a large egg capacity, turns the eggs automatically, includes a built-in egg candler, and has a clear viewing window so you can watch the hatch without disturbing the eggs. I also appreciate being able to refill the water reservoir from the outside, eliminating the need to open the incubator and disrupt the temperature and humidity. My biggest concerns were the dangling wire inside the incubator, which I worried could become a hazard for newly hatched chicks, and the alarm system. When the alarm sounded, it wasn't immediately obvious what had triggered it or how to silence it, making the experience more frustrating than helpful. I've been hatching poultry for many years and have used everything from small tabletop incubators to large commercial cabinet models. Ironically, even the larger, more sophisticated machines have been simpler to operate. Personally, I prefer an incubator that focuses on the essentials: maintaining stable temperature and humidity while automatically turning the eggs. This model tries to do a little too much for my taste, and that added complexity made it feel unnecessarily fiddly. The included chick feeder and waterer are a nice bonus for beginners, and the adjustable egg trays make it suitable for everything from quail eggs to goose eggs, adding to its versatility. Considering the features and accessories included, I think the price is quite reasonable. While I can certainly see this incubator appealing to many users, it wasn't the perfect match for my hatching style, so I'll continue searching for the incubator that best fits my needs.

We’ve used incubators for years and have had really good hatch rates with several of them, so I wasn’t expecting to be all that surprised by this one… but this incubator ended up feeling a little more advanced and a little more hands-off than some of the others we’ve used. Setup was straightforward, and I really liked having the humidity display right there instead of guessing and constantly second-guessing myself. The auto water filling feature made maintaining conditions easier, and the automatic egg turning took away some of that “did I remember?” feeling that comes with manual setups. The different incubation modes also made it feel a bit more dialed in rather than just being an on/off machine. We ran every Easter Egger and Cemani chicken eggs through it and had excellent results. Our hatch rate was right up there with some of our best batches over the years — honestly close to 100% success in our experience, which doesn’t happen often enough to take for granted. The chicks came out healthy, active, and absolutely beautiful. The temperature and humidity seemed to stay consistent, which is one of those things you don’t appreciate until you’ve used enough incubators that don’t. No complaints from us on this one. If you’ve hatched before and want something that feels like a step up, or you’re newer and want some of the work taken off your plate, this one made a really good impression here.

Have not done a hatch yet. Have tested it for temp hold and it seems to maintain set temp in a steady ambient temp environment. We saved the styro box as suggested- for a cooler room usage. Appreciate the ease of the roller placement for any size eggs. We incudbate Quail eggs and this will work fine. The side water set up makes for a larger footprint requirement - but the theory to provide humidity during incubation is solid. The included accessories (chick feeder/ waterer) are ok - light plastic and we discarded them. The candling light feature is a bonus. The fact that it has a battery back up option is why we got this. Experienced the power outage issue in the past - and this feature is not something my other incubators have.

Not a good incubator. Temperature and humidity readings are not accurate. The water bottle for the humidity is on the side and is easily knocked off and/or falls off when bottle isn’t full of water. It’s a very cheap setup with a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles that do not work. Not a single egg out of over two dozen hatched. It could be the wonky rollers in bottom that are supposed to turn the eggs. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t turn eggs. I do not recommend this unit if you’re serious about hatching eggs.
