We have a memory foam mattress that is firm and supportive, but not helpful to ease pressure points and tender joints while sleeping. Be clear, this mattress topper is not a miracle cure nor does it make an old mattress new, but it does add a noticeable level of sleeping comfort - well worthwhile. While some reviewers mentioned sleeping cooler, I found no difference in bed temperature and I sleep warmer than I’d like. Not a deal breaker for me. Out of the box the topper had no obvious odor and weighed just under 12 lbs. I actually thought when I lifted it that it felt more like 20! Let the fiber fill relax and re-plump stretched out for a few hours before making the bed. It will wash like handling a comforter – a handful. Just remember to launder it with less detergent and extra rinses to keep the fiber fill resilient after the topper dries. ... show more

This is like sleeping on a cloud. I sink in at night and I am down for the count. It STAYS IN Place, doesn't shift around as you move at night. The discomfort in my hips (I'm a side sleeper) is totally gone and I really do get much better quality sleep now. Soft and supportive.

I put an foam topper on that I purchased elsewhere but it had all the trouble you hear, not enough support, and would make the bed hot. I bought this with the highest of hopes it could help me keep cooler on my memory foam mattress, and boy did it deliver!!! As soon as I took it out I’d the package it was cool to the touch! I have a great deal of insomnia which I connected to always sleeping so hot, but last night I slept like a rock. If this keeps up I’ll be a whole new person in a couple weeks!The only tiny tiny downside is it makes the flat sheet a little lumpy but I do not care about that since it’s under the comforter anyway! I've used the mattress topper for over a week now. I have arthritis and some back issues and could never get comfortable on my mattress. This topper has helped. It's soft, but you don't sink into it. Could have been an inch thicker, but I am sleeping better. It's cooler weather now, so I don't notice that it makes me hot. It fit my queen size bed perfectly and I had extra room to pull it tight around the corners. I'm a very restless sleeper and so far, the topper has not slipped at all.
