I work the night shift, and typically go to sleep around noon. Our dining room has a door off of it, and ever since the 'fall back' of the Daylight Savings Time took place I've noticed that the sun just BLAZES through the door and blasts me in the face all the way in the living room where I tend to sit on the couch. It's hard enough trying to go to bed in the middle of the day, but the blinding sun in my face certainly doesn't trick my body into thinking it is nighttime. Although we have a film on the door's windows for privacy, it doesn't do a thing to filter the sunlight. It was time for a shade. This was SUPER easy to 'install.' All I did was stick a velcro strip (included) on top of the door, then attach the curtain to the strip. A toddler could probably do this. The back of the curtain already has velcro on it, so I guess the curtain came with a spare strip for the door. This blocks out ALL light - it is amazing! I've attached the Before and After photos, please don't judge the trim on my door, we have a dog that excitedly jumps at the door when it's time to go play frisbee. The 'before' photo was taken around 7am, well before the time that the sun hits the door. The 'after' was taken at the same time of day. By noon, I decided to put a nightlight in that room, that's how dark it got!

I have a double front door. When the sun is shining, it puts a glare on the TV in the living room which bothered my husband. I really like my windows but after SEVERAL years I decided to try something bc I was tired of hearing him complain. Blinds would look the best but it’s costly so I was trying to find another another solution for time being. They were extremely easy to hang. I used my steamer, wrinkles fell out easy and fabric is soft. Not sure if they are on the long side, I can get them hemmed but that’s one more thing to add to my plate. The house hasn’t been as hot with the windows covered; I didn’t realize just how much sun shine the front of the house got daily. I do like them but I feel like it’s missing that one thing…maybe tassels or a pattern for the top section. For the price and easy installment, NO COMPLAINTS!!!!

We took a long time trying to figure out what type of window covering to use to cover our non-standard door window when we moved into a new house. We didn't want people being able to walk up to our house and look right in, but we didn't want to drill into our wood door either. We have had this door curtain for about a month now, and we are very pleased. I did not have a lot of confidence that the sticky strip would hold, but it has with no evidence of letting up. We roll up the curtain every morning, and we let it down every evening. It looks kind of blah when it's down, but I prefer that to the possibility of people looking at me while I watch tv. As far as light-blocking, they block most of the light. We weren't looking for black-out or anything, but I do know that the room is significantly darker when this shade is down. One of the reviews I had read said that the tie-up straps are visible from the outside of the house. I was nervous that I would think it looks tacky, but I never notice it since I come in through the garage. I do know that they are visible, but it's a small price to pay for privacy.

Very easy to install. The adhesive is nice and strong. Able to withstand being whipped around by two toddlers. The two straps make it easy to keep the curtain out of the way during the day and lower it in the evening. The curtain gets a tiny bit wrinkled but you barely notice them. I got the gray and it's not sheer at all. It's almost a blackout curtain. I'm happy with it.

Look this a no frills solvent for those pesky door windows. Full coverage, black out, and SUPER easy to put up and SUPER basic. If you want something fancy? I recently moved into an apartment with French doors and the owner had some old heavy blinds that i could barely open and close and fell every time we used the back door which leads to the garage and my car so we use it more than the front door. I looked for days for something I could get and didn’t have to drill holes into the wall or doors and found these. They really do work at blocking out the sun and heat. It gets so dark in here I do roll them up for the sun to get in. Definitely worth the money!

These work great as an easy, economical option for when you just moved into a place, which is my situation. My biggest complaint is that they are either up or down with not really any in between, but I can live with that for now. They install in about 15 seconds, and have stayed on the doors perfectly. I may eventually upgrade them but they are great for now.
