This chandelier is fantastic. The cognac glass.. yes, real glass crystal.. not acylic. When the sun hits it late afternoons, the whole room is filled with reflections like a mirror ball. The crystals even break the light into primary colors on the wall. A super value and super find. But... it is a brain teaser to assemble and a challenge but well worth the effort. Suggest pre-assembling as much as possible and don't clip your nails like I did. Yes, your fingernails will come in handy. Get someone in the neigborhood to do the electrical if you are not up to it. It is relatively easy if you are competant enough. Co-mingle one wire from each candle. You will need larger wire nuts, enough for four single wires (candles) and a jumper. Do this twice, then connect both jumpers with the power line in. I used two different colored wire nuts to keep track because you will do this again with the second wire from each candle. If you don't do it yourself, this project will cost a fortune. Highly worth it but think things through and be patient. (I accidently through out my little gears/rings. The company was outstanding in replacing. Cutoes to them.) ... show more

    • Broken part - Amazon and company no help.
I love this chandelier! It took me 6 months to find someone to put it together for me. Problem is they use a "caulking" or "glue" to hold the chandelier arms in. The caulking holding one of the arms was split and broken and it won't hold the arm. I would like to have the base (with all 8 arms) to replace the broken one. Amazon says it's over 30 days since I bought it. They gave me a link to the seller. Guess what...you got it...the seller link takes me to a page that says contact Amazon. It is the endless circle of saying the other party will help you. In addition I tried to go back to Amazon customer service and get the phone number or email for the seller. Can't get a hold of Amazon about this product anymore. ... show more

Chandelier itself is a nice piece but for one is so complicated to put together has so many individial pieces it was crazy and so complicated came with a DVD and mine did not work. Had to YouTube it and did not show the whole video to asemble. If i would of known never would had ordered.

Its a beautiful chandelier but assembly is a bit of a project, it was a good team building exercise for my wife and I ! Love the end result though and you cant beat the price.. I did have to run to Home Depot to purchase a piece sense it is not made to American code, I believe the guy at Home Depot said it looks like it’s European. The item is defective! Doesn’t even light up! Found out after I had it installed. They said they would refund my money if I sent the item back but they refuse to cover my handyman costs. So not only am I having to return the defective item, I am losing money to put it up and now get it back down. Could not even get a partial refund! Do not buy this.
