I know waterproof matches typically have delicate match heads and these are no different. The match gead will fail/break easily and the burn itself doesn't last very long at all. These are cheap low tier waterproof matches in the long run. Worth having around as a 3rd or 4th option for starting a fire. That's about it. ... show more

They work, but they break pretty easily when striking the box. Good for an emergency, but bring extras.

Lightweight and hold up in a storm. The fire they produce is quite hot, so be careful when lighting a gasoline drenched pile of evidence, I mean sticks.

A good value, at a small price. These have been around for years, and get the job done, when needed. Suggestion: put 2 boxes in a snack-sized re-seslable bag, to keep the striker (and matches 😉) always dry!
