This canopy is high enough to allow people to walk around without the feeling that they’ll hit the top covering. It is easy to set up, very sturdy, and it blocks the sun and the rain. We are retiring a same size canopy because after few years the sun and the wind damaged the cover (sun) and frame (wind). That canopy used a different roof locking mechanism where you push up the 4 side and lock them. This canopy uses the pop-up concept. I find both to be the same, none is easier than the other. We can use it in the backyard, although I suspect it will be mostly used on our camping trips. One can place the included side panel on the side where the sun shines or can use it without any side panel. In the summer camping we usually put the side panel to get more shade, rotating the canopy to keep up with the sun's movement. Other times we don’t put any wall and place it above the picnic table. In addition to its very good workmanship, the canopy has some nice features. The V-shape roof creates natural ventilation and should reduce the chance of wind damage. The locking mechanism for the legs is great, toggling the lever, let the leg lower section drop to any of the three holes, let it lock. The popup is a differentiator from other canopies. In a pinch, even one person can put it up, if they first anchor one leg. We put on the top cover, and do not remove it when we collapse and fold for the bag. Being a lazy bunch, we don’t want to go through the full assembly on each trip. The bag is strong and sturdy, and I expect it to last a long time. The price one pays for all of this, and the other included stuff is the overall weight.

When this popped up in my feed I wanted to try it out because it's not like anything else I've seen. It has a ridge at the top instead of the typical 4 sloped pop-up. This gives it a very distinct look. The legs are a bit heavier than the usual pop-ups, and for the money I would like to see beefier legs. The setup is a little easier than the regular tents i have. I attached the top and when I leave it attached and take it down it still fits into the storage bag pretty easily. The only downside is, like I said before, I'd like to see larger legs (more metal) for the money, and the ridge has a slight upward hump. 4 stars.

This tent is going to be amazing for my wife, who regularly does community fairs for her business. Most of these events are outside and she has to bring her own tent, table, chairs, and materials. Many times it is just her and one of her friends who have to set everything up right before the fair or convention start, so something that just pops up, like this tent, are going to be great. I did have to show her how to set it up in our living room the first time (it is cold outside) and this also gave me the chance to put the top on and secure it. This was a breeze as it is just Velcro tabs that secure everything. I have other tents like this, but the one point click tab in the center of the tent is a game changer. I usually have to run to the four corners and fight the locking tabs into place. This tent you just line up the center spike and once it clicks into place, you are good to go. I would recommend extending the legs after you lock the center into place because at it lowest setting it is about 9 feet in the air and would be tough to get to unless you are an NBA player. The tent did have a bit of a odor from manufacturing, but I think it will fade quickly on first real use. The back wall is a nice touch, as sometimes she sits behind the display table and you don't want people wandering up behind you. Installation is easy as it is all Velcro securing tabs. It fold easily and everything store nicely in the provided bag. I stand it up to store, as the legs are on one end of the bag and it stands up pretty securely. Overall, this is going to be a great tent for our family to use. Now it just needs to warm up so we can put it up outside.

This is my backup when we plan to cook outside but there's a chance of rain. The size leaves plenty of room and coverage, and there's enough height to let the heat dissipate off the griddle. I finally had to use it when there was some rain when I was cooking. Setup is very simple, I was able to do it just myself, but it would be much easier with 2 people. The canopy attaches at the four corners with velcro, and has velcro straps on the sides that don't have the peak. It all seemed to hold together well, even with the wind that accompanied the storms. It has a single push spot in the middle to lock in place, and the 4 legs have the usual lock to raise/lower it. It's easier to use at the lowered height to carry around by yourself, then raise it once it's placed. It also comes with stakes and each foot has 2 holes for the stakes. I believe there are sand bags as well to add weight if you can't use the stakes. And there's a wall you can add to block wind/sun if needed. Everything fit back into the carrying case, though it took a little effort with the canopy still attached. Now it's ready to be popped again for the next use.

This is so much easier to use than my old one. The hardest part is just getting the top on, then spread it out. You can do it by yourself, but it's even easier with 2 people, just to help spread it out. And it helps to be a little taller. It's nice that this has a side wall shade that you can put where you need it. It can be staked down and comes with the accessories you need as well as a nice bag to carry it, I think it weighs about 40 pounds? The materials and metal seems to be a very good quality that should last many years. It fits in tge back of my van or it can fit on a back seat for transporting. This will be nice when working on the car out in the sun and for just added shade because we have no shade in our yard. It's nice and easy enough that you don't dread getting it out and putting it away, but we will probably leave it up most of the time, unless high winds are expected. This was a good order and so far worth the price, I will update this review if anything changes later.
