This Kindle case is so cute! It’s made of quality material and so functional. It has magnets to hold the cover in place and the hand grip and what I call the kickstand are so helpful to hold or rest on a surface to read. The kindle fits in it perfectly and was a great price. This is a great cover that makes the Kindle look and feel like a real book. The material simulates leather very well and just feels good. If you want to hold it with the strap, it is only designed to be held by the left hand. I am a righty, but it still feels okay. I don't think many people will opt to use the strap anyway, and I just hold it like a book with the cover wrapped around behind it. The stand works good for hands-free reading. The cover design is great for me as a man. I dropped it down to 4 stars due to the misleading advertising claim. The headline calls it PU leather which is intentionally vague. Many people will obviously miss the "PU" before the "leather" claim and think they are buying some type of leather. There is no such thing as leather made out of PU (Poly Urethane). The technical name of the material can be argued, but still... don't try to make sales out of clever wording. I'm happy to buy fake/faux/leather-like leather to get a cheaper price; just be upfront about it. Kindle unit is supposed to automatically go into sleep mode when the cover is closed. In the dark, I can see the light is still on by looking at the edges when the cover is closed. Since realizing that issue, I just remember to squeeze the cover closed a little bit and that puts it into sleep mode. Maybe the hold-close magnets are just a little weak, or the cover is a little thick. This very small point does not take away any stars whatsoever.

My first kindle purchase was this and it makes holding the kindle a delight. It looks premium, is lightweight and very comfortable to hold. I read for 3-4 weeks so far and it has been great while I read. It keeps the kindle sturdy and very easy to install. Perfect companion to my kindle.
