When I opened the box I laughed and thought I thought I miss read the item. However, I plugged them in and was quickly humbled buy just how bright these actually were. I used them on top of my kitchen cabinets and now we don't even use the overhead lights anymore because they light up the room due to reflecting off the ceiling. Sticky back isn't as good as some but it works ok if you have the right mounting surface. They come with little mounting clips but not enough to make it worth using them, and they're really cheap and not a good design. ... show more

I purposefully wanted a simple LED strip that didn't have a smart-phone app or programmable colors. I just wanted the dimmer switch. And this is exactly what I needed for my kitchen cabinets. I now have perfect surface light for the countertops. After 10 months, everything is working good as new, so I have hope it will be a lasting product. At full power, it consumes around 15watts. I received this led strip and liked it so much that I picked up another and we are placing them underneath our new cabinet shelves. I picked up the 9.84ft strips and they output a bright 6000K daylight white light. It has a 180-degree beam angle with an even distribution of light,. These are unique from others being touch dimmable and can adjust the brightness from 10% to 100%. Installation is easy, with a strong adhesive backing that securely attaches to any smooth surface, and the strips are cuttable fit your needs.
