Used as extra lighting in my truck cap. Easy installation to provide great even lighting throughout the truck bed from above. The lights will make access to my camping supplies much easier in low light conditions. Provides the same lighting as a $200 option for the cap for a tenth of the cost.

Very bright and easy to install

I was a little skeptical because of the price, but I am very pleased with this purchase. The adhesive on the lights seems very strong and stuck very well. I made sure to clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt/wax/grease etc. The lights stuck on no problem and hopefully they will continue to do so. As for the brightness, these lights are brighter than I thought they would be. I thought I may need a 3rd row of lights along the back cab area, but 2 strips of lights along each side of the bed is more than enough.

These things really lit up my truck bed. I have a tonneau cover over the bed and black spray-on bed liner. Looking in there at night was like looking into a black hole. The lights really make a huge difference. The adhesive seemed to hold well, but I heard that it may not stand up to summer heat with the spray-on bed liner. They provide 4 plastic retaining clips in case the adhesive doesn't work. I don't think that will be enough and I will likely have to order more. I found some clips that will do the job for less than $10, but you buy them by the 100. The retaining clips issue is costing the manufacture a star (only because I can't give them 4.5 stars). If they included 10-12 retaining clips, I would give them 5 stars. You will likely need to buy some additional wire and as well. I wanted my lights wired to my cargo lights which meant running the wire back to the cab. I'm guessing they anticipate the wires being connected to the tail lights because the positive and negative leads are pretty short. Overall I'm very pleased and would order them again.

I love them. Put on my 2019 ram 1500 all new. It has a backflip cover. First connected to brake light running light. When truck was off it worked. Started truck and the right rear light it was connected to flashed on and off several times then taillight and led bed lights turned off. Watched a bunch of videos and decided to tackle it in the morning. Decided to connect it to the main center bed light on cab. Found the wire in driver's side pedal area. Spliced in and had a similar problem. Replaced the cab bed lights with LEDs and YES everything works perfectly. Must have been too much power draw with these LEDs and the old bulbs together. Now when I open the tailgate these inside bed lights turn on. Super happy with them. I just pointed them straight down on the backflip rails. Satisfied!

Can be powered from a 12v portable power pack

I have a tonneau cover and my truck box is like a black hole at night. These lights are more than bright. Mine are attached underneath the rail. For anyone that doesn't want to wire them into your vehicle, I use a 12v portable power pack to power mine. It's something I already carry in the vehicle and I can power them on anytime without the key in the ignition. My only complaint is that they connect to a splitter rather than each other in a series. I was aware of this before ordering.
