Nice simple kit. Lots of details below if you want to read on but overall, it’s a simple to install and operate light strip with 0 - 100% dimming and a comfortable soft white color temperature. You get the strip, power supply, and in-line dimmer. It’s not the most advanced controller or power brick but it’s completely functional. Just rotate the knob. The dimmer appears to use a voltage adjustment rather than variable current to control the power. Full on, it runs at 23.55 volts; dimmed to its lowest on state it's at 13.15 volts. Below that, it’s off. The range between the lowest and highest brightness is very smooth without any buzzing, whining, or flicker. The strip is “universal” so you could upgrade later with a wireless control if you want. The power supply is adequate but there is very little “overhead”. Full ON, the strip draws 1.42 Amps at 23.55 volts and consumes 33 watts using the supplied power brick. I also tested it with a regulated 24.0 V supply in a constant voltage mode; you can boost it to 1.5 Amps connecting at one end. You can get it up to 1.69 Amps and 40 watts by powering both ends for better uniformity, but the supplied power unit is not big enough for that type of application. Without getting too techy, the power supply is close to maxed out at full intensity supplying one end of the strip, so don’t plan on adding more strips at full power without a larger (or separate) power supply. You can cut the strip at the pre-marked locations if you want a shorter length or you can get connectors (or solder) + wire to make "gaps" in your installation as they show. What I would not recommend is just adding more strips for more length without a larger power supply. Color temp is accurate = 2700 K. There are a little better than 8 LED’s per inch x 32.8 feet gets you to the advertised 3200 total. Voltage drop at the end of the strip takes it down to 21.73 V or (1.82 volt drop) but even so, the intensity drop off is not overly noticeable. Thats not bad for a 33 foot long strip. Yes, if you compare the tip to the end side-by-side you will see some difference (photo) but at lower intensities it’s pretty subtle. It’s bright when full on. The exposure of the photos was intentionally darkened to better compare the brightness at the end but to your eyes, it’s a “bright” strip at both ends. Pretty simple plug and play "goof proof" assembly with easy push together connections that anyone can assemble in a few seconds. Good sticky adhesive on the back but as with all these tapes it can be a little difficult to start peeling off the blue cover layer. Make sure you only remove the thin blue cover; don’t pull the white doubled sided tape off the FPCB.

This AUZIWE COB LED Strip is nice and bright! I like the easy way I was able to install them on top of our kitchen cabinets. I also like the ability to dim them at night when I just want an accent light. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that there weren't any included instructions on where to cut without damaging them. I had to go back to the sale page to find out. Other than that, I'm a happy camper.

Unlike the product picture, even on full brightness, you can see each LED, it's more pronounced at dimmer levels. Phone cameras don't seem to be able to capture it, but it's not super noticeable. Since this is LED, I assume it flickers as caught on the phone camera, but it's not discernable to the eye. The adhesive does not say 3M. When I was peeling the blue backing, the adhesive strip actually came off the light a few times. The light came off my satin painted walls a couple times, my ambient humidity was around 40% and the temperatures were between 73-78 degrees. It's not come off the wall again after I pushed them back. The adhesive seems to hold well on ceiling paint (which is usually flat). It actually attached well to exposed vertical (not ceiling) particleboard (double sided tape didn't even adhere to particleboard). I'm not sure if the adhesive would hold up on high gloss wall paint. I have no way to quantitatively gage how bright this is, but all 32' lights up my living room better than 2 CFL bulbs. Though that may have to do with the fact that this strip light is on the perimeter of my ceiling vs the bulbs are only in 1 corner on a floor lamp. Even if the light was bunched up into a ball and aimed like my 2 CFL floor lamp, I think 32' of this would be brighter. The brick does get quite warm. I have this on a 5 hour timer. Overall, a great buy if you don't want to sacrifice floor space for a floor lamp and don't want to bother putting in ceiling lights.

I got this to use on a couple projects and dang, this light strip is nice and bright! You can use a lot or very little which is great since they're cuttable in tiny increments. Great to light up small and big projects, you can pursue unlimited creativity with this! I'll have to admit I didn't really extensively test the glue strip, I tend to not rely on those for ANY application and either glue or silicone the strip, or use brackets depending on where it goes. I always err on the side of caution with that. While I didn't NEED the dimmer switch, it's a nice bonus. I love the smooth look of this light, never tried this kind. Makes for wonderful smooth lighting with a nice and clean reflection on surfaces. Can absolutely recommend!!

I got these lights to use when my mum comes to visit me; she has mac-degen, so she can't see very well, especially in the dark. My sunroom has a small stepdown, so I am using these lights to mark where it is. The lights are small, but they are bright. They are also dimmable, although the strip can be mounted without the dimmer. In the images I included, one shows how low the light can be dimmed which is pretty impressive; the other image shows the lights on 100%. I figure 25% should be good enough to highlight where the step is. Installation was super easy. I used alcohol to clean the surface of the mounting location. Next, I mocked where the lights would go. Once happy with the location, I peeled away the blue film from the light strip and secured the distal end by firmly pressing it. Next, I simply peeled away the blue film as I pressed the light strip along the vertical face of the step - I mounted the lights on the vertical face of the step so that it lights the step, but it does not get under foot when walking. Oh, the light strip allows cutting it to size, so measure where you want it to go, cut it to size, and then peel and press - it's that easy! I'm very pleased with the results and highly recommend this light strip.
