This Coavas window film looks great and DEFINITELY cuts down the heat from the sun--and holds in the heat when it's cold outside. I love that you still feel you can see some of the outdoors, you get a good amount of light in the room, but you're not living in a fishbowl for the neighbors. I can walk around in my undies and not frighten the neighbors. With window films, thickness or thinness is a big deal. This one hits the sweet spot: It isn't so thin that it keeps folding back on itself and sticking while you're working with it, and it isn't so thick that it looks like plastic junk on your window or smells like toxic vinyl when it heats up in the sun. It also separates more easily from the backing compared to others. I found this Coavas window film super-easy to hang, compared with all the others I've used. MY HANGING METHOD (same as everyone's until step 5): I have those pricey vinyl windows and don't want a razor knife near them for trimming... (1) Squirt water all over the clean window, (2) Place a guesstimated-sized piece of window file against the window, and (3) Smooth out most of the air bubbles with the rubber side of a plastic wallpaper smoother. Then (4) Slide the plastic edge of the smoother along each outside edge of the window at the same time you (5) Slide a ballpoint pen between the edge of the smoother and the edge of the window. You wind up with penlines on all four sides of the glass. They don't quite make it to the corners, because the smoother doesn't quite make it there. Then, (6) Lift each side of the window film away from the glass and cut CAREFULLY along the lines with good scissors (7) Spray more water and reapply the film, and move to the next side. (8) Literally pat yourself on the back to celebrate what a good job you did!

Bought this to put up in our bathroom because we had used it before in a previous house for the front door sidelight windows. Looks awesome for those, however, does not work well for the bathroom window as it is not 100% privacy. You can see between the lines as those are clear now as we d not remember them being clear and able to see in and out of. Look beautiful up, but not 100% private if you purchase this window film.

This product was relatively easy to place on the inside windows of the garage door. Although air bubbles remained despite our best effort to smooth them out, the heat from the sun took some of them out. Not only does this block out the sun, it helps with keeping out a lot of the heat. Worked better than we thought it would.

I moved into a first floor apartment back in February. I LOVE having natural light, but also wanted privacy! I am SO SO SO glad that I bought these window decals! I also purchased a small rubber squeegee and a pray bottle to help with the installation, but with those two extra tools, I had the decals installed in about 10 minutes, and they have not budged since then! I have included multiple pictures- the first two are take from inside the apartment looking out. A good amount of light is still allowed through, and my kitty loves that there are little clear spaces so he can still bird watch. The next two pictures are taken from outside the building during the day, and the last two are take outside at night. I do still usually close my curtains at night for added privacy, but you can only really see a person's outline, not any details.... Also, since they are static cling, they are reusable! Very happy with this purchase, thank you!

I like it a lot, the only thing I don’t like is I want the design look horizontal, but the roll I ordered if I want it looks horizontal I have to cut it so many pieces, but the look right now I only need to cut it three pieces. But still look great.

Well that took a forever amount of time. No word yet on whether or not it will help with heat control. Anyhow I could not gracefully get the backing to peel off. Fingernails, no. Thin blade, no. Could not get it started. Finally after half an hour & in desperation I cut into a corner & tore it like a savage. That did it. Could finally see the film, grab hold of it, & get it off. So, give yourself extra inches to work with & swear at. Good luck y’all! Hope you’re finding ways to stay cool.

A this vinyl sheet that goes on the windows with water. It does take some patience to get all the bubbles out, although it’s worth it. The privacy also provides some sparkle and shine so you get good light. Good stuff.
